Currently attending college, seeking degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in English. Seeking freelance work to help pay bills (have 2 children, husband solely supporting family). I have always had a passion for creative writing and have become disappointed in the school systems. After seeing the lack of writing that high school students(all levels actually) do not do any longer, I am hoping to get a degree that allows me the opportunity to educate the children of the future. Instill in them a passion for writing and expression through writing. I have had several pieces of poetry published throughout my lifetime and have won awards for drawings. I have spent the last several years researching antiques, including high quality jewelry, furniture, photographs etc. I would love an opportunity to do freelance work so that I may share my skills. Prior employment has limited my passion. I managed a small store, had an opportunity to work in several hair salons, in general my work has always put me in situations of customer service. I enjoy the public and ALL aspects of it; even the not so pleasurable situations.
