Hi ! I am Jamie an artist/illustrator from Newcastle upon Tyne, north east England GB. Since childhood I have loved all things natural, anything that walks, crawls and flys I will take an interest in ! This strongly reflects in my artistic output which centres greatly on birds and mammals. At the moment I tend to work mainly in watercolour and also pen and ink. My watercolour work tends to be relatively semi abstract my pen work is traditional line and silhouette. I greatly admire the work black and white work of Remabrandt, Durer and Aubrey Beardsley. Watercolour wise I love the wildlife paintings of C.F Tunnicliffe and the great dutch painter Rien Poortvliet.
