Writing and art are my passions. I gravitate towards creative writing - particularly short stories and poetry - but write well about pretty much anything. I have an Associate's degree in Art and have taken many English classes, so I know the ins and outs of writing pretty well. I'm also good at proofreading and editing. As for art, I focus on photography. I like to photograph people, animals, and nature. I received third place in a local art show for one of my photos in 2010. Also, I draw and paint. I drew the design for one of my own tattoos, and have also drawn tattoos for friends. I have been drawing for many years, but I'm relatively new to painting. When I do paint, though, I like to paint murals, portraits, and landscapes. I also do some modeling.

I have been fortunate to be a part of multiple projects which have pushed and developed my style using various mediums. With that said, my focus is more in pencils, inking and paints with my illustration style being in comic books and cartoons (separately). I've designed multiple logos, flyers and club/organization shirts. I also write and have various projects in mind. I'm looking to get involved in a children's book project or comic book project.

Presently I am working as a Medical Office Assistant and have worked in the Mental Health Services for over 18 years along with having transcription experience in specialties such as Pediatrics, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry and Pathology after working in a lab for one year. I truly enjoy medical transcription. I love typing and spelling, editing for proper, concise grammatical flow and have experience typing documents and reports from doctors whose first language is not English. I need to obtain modern equipment but would enjoy receiving information about the possibility of on-line work that I can do anywhere in a private at-home office setting. Margaret Walsh
