I love personifying animal characters, specifically in a fantasy setting. I am a freelance children's book illustrator with a love of nature and the ocean and am excited to be commissioned with new and challenging ideas to take my imagination to new heights and expand my skill set. My favorite mediums are pencil and pen, nothing beats the control of movement and the 'old school' effect that ensues.

This might seem a little off topic, but stay with me... Sometimes, when I go out to a local pub, to sing some karaoke (okay, a lot of times!), some friends at my table will laugh at some of the "singers" and criticise them. When they do, I ask them if they have ever sung karaoke, before. If they haven't, then i tell them that they can't criticise them. Now, I know that nobody can criticise my singing (wink!), but I decided to take my own advice, in the comic book world. I am a complete beginner, but i do have a few ideas, of vastly different genres. I have one volume (of a two volume graphic novel) complete, and I'm looking for interested (and interesting) illustrators.

I am just out of high school. I have been writing for years, and have received multiple awards for my writings. I just recently started photography, but seemed to have a talent for it. My whole life I have wanted to write a book, and have written many, however, when I get to the end and have finished it I throw it out because I don't think it will be good enough. Writing is my life and passion I write everything, and will write everything for the rest of my life.

Art has been a huge part of life since a child. That sweet temporary escape you feel when tuning your mind into a painting, poem, or music, has major impact for every single person. I like to think I contribute to that experience by creating paintings, accompanied by stories I write, to further the artistic journey. The stories I conjure can describe the meaning behind my work and/or expand on an idea, or tease the imagination. My inspiration derives from many things. I like to think that my art achieves a wide range of themes that can attract the eye of most individuals, because there is so much to see and feel in life...why limit interpretations. To sum it all up, ART is a world I can escape to, to feel free and powerful through colour, texture and design. Please feel free to contact me!
