I don't particularly care to nail myself down, in one specific perspective. I think of myself as a conceptual illustrator. Within that genre, lies many different aspects of art that, in a way, fit what I do. I like "out of the ordinary" concepts. Making complex ideas into simple visual images that can be easily understood. Or at the very least, make something simple into something more than it appears.. I'm an Art Education major at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts. I've been drawing, I'd like to say "semi-professionally" for the last year. I hold myself to a high standard. I pride myself on making traditional graphic novels and comic books. I'm a strictly by-hand, type of artist.

I'm a muralist based in Johannesburg. As such the public domain is an important component that informs my conceptualisation. I want to invite the viewer to participate in creating the meaning of the mural, through taking into account the location of the mural and responding to it. I also make maquettes for public sculpture out of cardboard and have extensive experience in stencilling, silkscreening spray-painting and painting with oils. I hold a Fine Art degree from Wits University, you can have a look at some of the works I have done on: http://www.jhblive.com/kultcha/exhibitions/sandile_radebe_-_graffiti_intellectual/128193
