Said "Hi, my name is Laura Givens and I like your stuff. Are you at all interested doing book covers. I'm looking for a digital artist able to work comfortably in science fiction and fantasy. Over the past decade and a half I have worked for innumerable publishers and done well over a thousand covers and am presently doing a lot of work for Eric Flint's Ring of Fire Press. The thing is they are expanding and i am the only reliable artist they have...and i ain't getting any younger. The pay would be decent though not spectacular.
Cover art is about storytelling, not pinups and I sense from what I have seen here that you might have the knack. I'm looking for someone to train in the ancient secrets of cover art and I need someone who already knows their way around a digital toolbox.
