I graduated from School of Visual Arts in NYC in 2016, with BFA in 2D animation and have been freelancing ever since. (I also had an internship at start up studio Cartuna, where I was doing a lot of animation/illustration related client work) I also have been drawing comics for many years as a hobby My main style is cartoony and colorful, but I am flexible and willing to do anything as long as I have confidence my skills will allow it. Simon has always loved the process of making pictures, but with two small children, Simon has spent many hours sharing the delights of picture-books, and now illustrating for children is his latest passion. A former chef, Simon earned a BA in Visual Communication (under the tutelage of Henrik Drescher) and has worked in a number of creative roles including in-house designer and illustrator for an award-winning Television New Zealand website as well as agency work in New Zealand, The UK and The U.S. Going by the pseudonym Drew Feynman, Simon recently illustrated 'Awesome Minds, The Creators of iPhone' a Duopress publication. Although Simon has always enjoyed the simplicity of pencil and paper, he also loves Mac-based design and is currently exploring the nuances of water-colour and gouache.
