I just recently graduated from University of Lincoln as a 3D Animator. I'm a former tool and die maker with over 25 yrs experience,and still have my precision measuring instruments. For the last 20+ yrs.working in that capacity, I often programmed CNC machines, and produced mechanical drawings using various CAD software. I was forced to "retire" 8 years ago due to neurological disease. Since becoming disabled, I have been self employed as a CAD drafter/designer. My experience ranges from simple tasks like floor plans and electric motor mounts.To more complex drawings such as injection molds and industrial robotics. Projects completed from online sources include: home woodworking jigsaw patterns, a sheet metal design with multiple flat parts that when assembled created a cylinder, a parking lot design for boats/trailers with tow vehicles, and RVs located under a freeway overpass, 2d mechanical blueprints, STL files for CNC router programing, architectural structural frame designs, and an attachment for added stability to a beach umbrella. Recently completed projects include; protective frames designed for cell phones, stamped brass parts designed from a "McDonalds" napkin hand drawn sketches, a bicycle helmet designed like a pith helmet CNC routed from wood, and fixed blade knife designs. This is not a complete list, only a representation of freelance assignments I have completed. And includes contracts from other freelance web sites as well as privately acquired work. Software being utilized includes SolidEdge, AutoCAD 2015, AutoCAD 2015 Raster Design, 3Som PhotoModeler, SolidWorks 2013, Rhinoceros 3D, Sketchup Pro., GibbsCam, Femap FEA (Finite Element Analysis). And Chief Architect for architectural design. With CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop as imaging software. As well as Adobe Acrobat XI Professional for PDF files. I can provide drawings in most any of the formats (DWG, DXF, PDF,STEP, IGES, ect.) commonly used for drafting/design and prototyping.My drawing software is compatible with most other file extensions from professional CAD programs (SolidWorks, Catia, Pro-E, AutoCad, ect.)
