www.dpoulindesigns.com I am a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a degree in graphic design and journalism. Currently I am partaking in an internship at Disney World, so my mind is constantly in a creative work mode. For journalism, I was on staff at my school's newspaper doing many articles from media reviews to art gallery features. I have also done work in visual broadcasting with reporting on local news. For design, one of my first projects was the promotion for a stage production of The Breakfast Club. More recently though, I've worked with a dietitian to create a multi-faceted campaign for healthy eating. Also, I created promotions of which were used for promoting the speech made by the female rights activist Lily Ledbetter to my school's campus. -Here is my website which includes my resume and portfolio: www.dpoulindesigns.com -Here is a link to a few of my journalistic pieces: http://www.oswegonian.com/?s=david+poulin

Hello everyone! I am a freelance illustrator currently working out of NYC. I have a BFA in illustration with a minor in art history.I am currently looking for work in a wide range of markets; children's book, education, editorial, advertising. My work ranges from strong realism, to whimsical characters. I make characters real in their own narrative world and try to deal with different concepts and issues in a fun and humorous way. My first children's book was just published in June entitled "I love the Skin I'm In". I am also looking for commission work, portraits of people, houses, pets or anything else. I am proficient in watercolor, acrylic ink, pen and ink, pencil and digital art. Mainly, I work traditionally but am skilled in digital art and take full advantage of what technology has to offer. I am very motivated and driven to work hard for my goals, and make the best and most marketable work possible, even on a tight deadline. I can also design logos, business cards, greeting cards, calendars, anything! Please take a look at my website for more examples of my work, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
