Hello, My name is Julie Thurlow and I am an artist and graphic designer from Massachusetts. I have a BA in fine art and digital media. My work ranges from simple cartoon illustrations to detailed realistic artwork. I have taken a break from digital media at this time and create all my illustrations by hand. I use a variety of media including pen and ink, pencil, colored pencil, acrylic ink and acrylic paint. I will also use oil paint in certain instances however this is a slower more consuming media and therefor is used less often in my illustrations. My fees are based on the detail and realism of the work requested, all my prices are very reasonable and definitely negotiable. Email me at thurlow.draw@gmail.com for samples of my work and to request a quote and some free proofs! Remember, the more details I get from you better I can make your vision come to life!

I am a 31 year old mother of one. Educated to degree level in Law and Business, my love is for fiction and none fiction auto/biographies. I write poetry, and keep a detailed journal, so any kind of creative blog-style work would be be fine. I love the freedom of expression offered in reading a book yet I also appreciate adaptations of play and film. Any kind of review based work would also be good.

Ignoring the cries of parents, friends, and family to ignore my dream, I have given my life over to writing. Well, that's what I think you should believe, so that is what I stated. But the truth may be closer to: I love to write. I began creating stories long before I could actually write. (Thanks to the invention of the tape recorder, I can actually prove this. But don't make me. Oh, who am I kidding? I still think those "Wacky Stories" (name clearly inspired by that classic cartoon Wacky Races) are brilliant and will gladly share them with you at the merest hint that you are even remotely interested. Clearly, a conversion to either an animated or live-action 3-D Youtube sensation is looming.) Fiction and children's book writing are my greatest passions, but I have an annoying talent for editing to the great boon of many a relative and former classmate. I have a B.A. in Religion and Mythology. I also hold an MBA. It's in my left hand as I type this. Luckily, I am right handed. And that about sums me up.

I am a fiction writer working on writing novels and screenplays for myself. I want to write novels and screenplays as well as direct these screenplays as a career but as of now I don't have a regular income. Ideally I will do these things to earn a living but realistically I can't expect to finish these big projects without any money for them and bills to pay on the side. In order to make these things happen I need to generate an income and the best way I can think of, to do so is to offer my talents to whomever may need them for a price. I'm new to the freelance thing but am picking it up quickly and have already developed my skills as an artist/writer creating for myself. I have a website up showcasing my short stories and poetry as well as some photography and art. I have built my website using a free website builder with graphics I have created myself. I manage my site myself along with all my social media i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, which I use to spread the word about my creative works as well as connect with like minded folks who in some cases I have collaborated with. So I have a good deal of knowledge and experience with social media and using it efficiently as well as running and monitoring a website. On my website I also run a personal blog that covers all kinds of topics I take interest in which can also be found on Blogger, so I have blogging experience and am familiar with Blogger. I also have a lot of knowledge and experience with Adsense from Google, ad placement, generating revenue with ads, creating and using tags efficiently as a result. Along side this I have a YouTube channel which I use alongside Vimeo to share my work in film and video. I do short films to feed my apatite for directing, shooting video and editing audio and video. I create all my own visuals and music for these projects as well. So, basically I am an artist working for himself and learning through trial, error and hard work looking to use his talents professionally to make a living and fund future projects.
