Hello, Thank you for this opportunity to apply for the position you have available. With more than 25+ years in the publishing, ghostwriting, and freelance writing industries, As a trained SEO writer, I write high-quality content for articles, blogs, books, brochures, business letters, business reports, commercials, essays, flyers, landing pages, magazines, manuals, newsletters, press releases, product descriptions, reviews, sales pages, website content, and much more. I also provide my clients value-added services such as posting to their blog sites or forums, responding to their readers, and monitoring/reporting follow-up services. I love to research, compile, and write; therefore as a ghostwriter, I spend much of my personal time working on academic books and e-books for various educational facilities and publishing houses. Because I write with a natural flow to my words, individuals and businesses requiring books and eBooks find my style works very well, especially when explaining difficult to apprehend materials. It seems I have a gift for making the extremely difficult, quite easy to understand. Because I am highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, accurate, creative, prompt, and professional, the majority of my clients are repeat business. These repeat businesses often refer new clients to me, and my business continues to flourish, allowing me to bring in new writers and trainees as required. My website is currently being renovated for the pending year, but some of the information is now in place. If you have questions about any services I provide, please contact me. I look forward to discussing your next project with you. Sincerely, Trish Resume: Work Experience: Patricia A. MacQueen, Freelance Ghostwriter - P. O. Hi there. My name's Jonathan Walker. I'm a second year student at Staffordshire University studying script writing. During my time on the course, I've learnt what makes for a good story which will keep the audiences engaged from start to finish. I've also been fortunate enough to have met and interviewed Richard Curtis (the writer of Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, and many more classics) who further helped my understanding of the art of writing. When writing, I like to challenge myself by working with different genres as well as having a go at feature length films alongside shows for TV; by doing this, my aim is to make myself more flexible, therefore I'm happy to take on any genre presented to me. I have a lot of motivation when it comes to writing, allowing for high quality, fairly quick first drafts. As well as scriptwriting, I've had training with the Sony NX70 camera and will soon be undertaking a training course for Adobe Premiere for editing. With this training, I've acted as producer, cameraman and contributed towards both the plot and editing (on Final Cut Pro) for a short film found in my portfolio. More films are planned over the next year. I also have experience at writing articles for magazines having had to create a magazine for an assignment. Also, I've created many posters, both for the magazine and other projects . As I wish to pursue a career in these fields, I'm not necessarily doing it for the money just yet, but rather for the exposure, to get my name out there. Therefore, I'm happy to take on certain projects for a very small price or even do it for free, so long as I'm credited for the work. If you have any questions or queries, or even just want to sample some of my work before consideration, feel free to get in touch. Thanks for reading, hope you have a great day!

ANDREA ESKIN LinkedIn Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/aeskin PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Writer, editor, and graphic designer with 30+ years of experience. Expert proofreader, researcher and fact-checker. Skilled typographer and production manager. Five years’ experience working with a printer/publisher formatting, designing, and editing books. EDUCATION B.A. (English/Communications), and courses in Typography and Advertising Art CAREER EXPERIENCE Writer – Business Publications (30 years) Writer – Scholarly & Creative (30+ years) Magazine Editor (2 years) Newsletter Editor (25 years) Graphic Designer/Typographer (20 years) Book Manuscript Editor & Designer (10 years) HARDWARE USED Laptop with 64-bit OS, 580 GB of memory External hard drive with 2 TB of memory Scanner, printer, digital cameras SOFTWARE USED Adobe Creative Suite – Cloud Microsoft Office WinZip Roxio CD Creator HOW I DESIGN & PREPARE BOOK MANUSCRIPTS 1. Email a copy (ONLY a copy) of your manuscript to me in Microsoft Word. It does not have to be formatted, but if you have specific instructions on how you’d like it to be formatted, include those. Also include your contact information. 2. Since most people have Microsoft Office Suite on their computers, I use Microsoft Publisher to format the pages of your book. This makes it easy for you to make minor changes yourself. Most commercial printers and publishers will accept files in this format. 3. I will email a copy of the formatted book pages to you for approval. We can discuss any changes that need to be made by phone or email. 4. I will design the cover in Adobe Photoshop, and email it to you for approval. We can discuss any changes that need to be made by phone or email. 5. Once all of the changes are made, I will create a file that includes the entire book – pages and cover – and send it to you. If the file is less than 25 MB, I may be able to email it to you. If it’s larger than that, I will copy it to a CD and FedEx it to you. The size of the file will depend on how many images (photos, art, etc.) are contained in the book, including the cover. NOTE: If you plan to self-publish the book, it’s a good idea to first find a local printer who can do the job. A good one will help you select the right kind of paper for the cover and inside of the book. Ask the printer how he would like the camera-ready (final) file submitted – by email or on a disk? -- and in what file format (original or PDF). Many printers have a site where you can upload large files instantly. Before the formatting and design is begun, please advise what the printer prefers, or you can provide me with his contact information so that I can discuss technical issues with him directly. I keep email records of every step so that everyone is up to date on the progress and specific tasks.
