At a very young age I was told to express myself. My mother always said, " Emily, I could give you a cardboard box and a string and you would make something from it." It's just something that came naturally. I draw inspiration from my surroundings and get about the small details; like how I was going to sign my name on a birthday card, or snap a picture of my shoes because they "looked cool" against the rug. It's moments like these that I look back on and think, this is what I was supposed to do. I attended New England Institute of Technology as an undergrad student, studying graphic design and digital photography. This is where I practiced using various software and gained an understanding for design aesthetics. There's something really special about bringing someone else's vision to life. Whether it be through photography or design, I plan to do just that. Link to my interactive portfolio https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=q-bXyajYmsHapYyVkg5oag
