Winner of Radio Times Summertime Competition hung in Tate. I am an artists who enjoys interpreting and transferring images and forms 2D-3D and back again. In my teaching I use natural and seasonal themes to engage and stimulate my pupils' interests. The macroscopic/microscopic worlds also interest me greatly, I have a botany degree. I always start projects with drawing and mind-mapping which helps everyone understand the sequence of development. This also provides a visual vehicle for extension, discussion and promotion. I have regularly exhibited and sold my landscape/seascapes in local exhibitions since 1984. I paint commissions I have run successful whole school Art and Design technology projects using a wide range of materials. I have Forest School qualifications and work with clay, wood, wool and recycled things.

I have worked with AutoCAD for over 20 years. Both 2D and 3D work, mostly 3D Primary area of work is in industrial applications but I can do architectural layouts as well. Have done almost everything from simple automotive parts to 3d conveyor system layouts for presentation drawings. My most current work has been for products supporting the offshore oil industry. Other relevant job skills: I have a good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, 3DStudio have done technical layouts and technical writing as well.
