I am a self taught artist who has over the past few years found time to indulge myself in my own quirky, colourful art. I have in that time published a children's book with my father and a small booklet for a chain of daycare centres in Queensland Australia. I have also printed numerous Postcards and cards which sell in different outlets in the district where I live as well as online. I LOVE animals and do many commissions under PortfolioPets for pets that have passed and fur babies that are very loved. I am happiest when doing my colourful fun art as you will see and I can do a variety of different styles. On Facebook under PortfolioPics

I recently completed my bachelor’s degree from the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts at Indiana University. I took courses in graphic design, 3D modeling, letterpress, and video editing, amongst others. I presented work in exhibitions, including virtual reality pieces. I have also gained design experience through an internship designing print media for the Themester program at Indiana University and an employment position in the creative department at the Indiana Daily Student. Prior to my time at Indiana University, I worked in customer relations for many years. I have obtained strong interpersonal skills through a variety of positions. These skills enable me to successfully navigate an assortment of interactions with both clientele and peers. I am also a very organized, meticulous person who thrives under pressure and enjoys challenges. My hobbies include hiking, traveling, and event planning. My husband and I are both involved with the local chess community. I served as the President of the Chess Club while I was at Indiana University. I helped organize events and create marketing materials related thereto. My husband is the local scholastic chess club and when we are not attending chess events, we are watching movies, traveling, or trying new recipes.

Online resume' at (https://www.resumerepublic.com/ki22941hu) I am a graphic illustrator/cartoonist living in Richmond Virginia. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors degree in communication arts, with a focus on drawing, painting, sequential imaging, and digital arts. My primary platforms are usually pen and paper, taken into most if not all of the Adobe software editing suites such as Photoshop, Illustrator, indesign etc. I have done many label designs via school project or commission based, to which I use those same suites to clean them up, and ultimately present. In my schooling, I have also had experimentation in many CGI and 3D editing suites such as After Effects, and am very comfortable in a computer setting. My passion is conceptual design, for I am a very emotional person and feel that conceptual imaging or storyboard making encapsulate the overall theme and feeling of the idea, but through schooling and vigorous self training I have learned to take those concepts, refine them, and present them in the cleanest most elegant way possible. My portfolio consists of a wide variety of conceptual sketching from my own narratives, still life's, caricatures of people that have come and go, and life's little things that inspire me the most.

I also love to do character design, storyboarding and animation. I work in both traditional and digital medium, and am easily able to cross over from traditional to digital and vice versa. My favorite traditional mediums include pencil, pen and ink, Copic markers, Prisma Colored Pencils, watercolor and oil paints. I have several years of experience using Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Flash/Animate and After Effects, as well other creative softwares like Toon Boom, Krita and Clip Studio Paint. Previous jobs I've had include being a cleanup animator and colorist for animated shorts, storyboard artist for an independent film, and tutor for students learning to use Adobe software. In my own time, I'm usually scripting and drawing out my own short comic stories and fan-comics, and drawing fantasy characters, scenes and lady-armor. If you need comic book artist, or a binder cover for your MTG binder, I'm your girl!

Profile Cindy is a native of Southern California and was born horse crazy so naturally she started to draw horses when she figured out what a crayon was. Even her most early drawings showed accuracy and style. She has since taken watercolor classes with Casey White, Claudia Nice and Tom Lynch which has inspired her and prompted her to finally get her work in the public’s eye with her upcoming solo show ‘The Power of Change.‘ Through art we can enjoy environmental beauty and appreciate what is on the earth and the spirit realm, there is always room for Fairies and Elves, therefore opening our eyes to it's wonders. Generally Cindy works in Conte’ on toned paper and paints in Oils which she has recently been experimenting with the old masters techniques. Though she has an ongoing argument, she is becoming a fast fan of Watercolors.
