Hi, my name is Elaine Lagon and I currently am progressing towards a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia Design and Web Development. Ever since 2002, I knew I wanted to become a Web Designer after studying the subject in High School. After that, I have been pursuing classes dealing with Web Design, and right now I am learning Adobe Illustrator CS5 and Adobe Photoshop CS5. Strictly for this Semester it's just Adobe Illustrator CS5. I have beginner's experience in creating logos and typography posters. I love to draw, create wallpaper blends, websites. Last Semester I took Web Animation as an Online Class and so I have a flash site worked into as an assignment. I am still a beginner in Flash, but right now in Emerging Technologies my final project consists of Kinetic Typography.

I've been writing poetry since I was a little kid and have written anything from haiku to epic poems. I generally explore a broad amount of topics in my writing, but mostly i deal with emotions and human experience as opposed to inspirational, story-telling, or nature oriented themes. I also love to write short-stories, which I'm proficient in fantasy, fiction, and horror especially. I was once in a band, and wrote songs for that band, and for other bands in the area and I play guitar and bass and have written full songs, so I'm aware of music theory and rhythm.

At the end of my term at the MRN, I was required to train staff and set up a standard communications structure for the MRN's operations.
