Darcy Muller E-mail: darcymuller@mullerproductions.com Personal I have been working in television production since January 2011 as an Editor and Media Exchange Operator at Network Ten Melbourne. This job has provided me with the fantastic opportunity to work in the television industry in close cooperation with journalists, producers and directors performing a variety of tasks. I began my time as an editor for national evening and weekend news bulletins before I was chosen to take on the role of early Media Exchange Operator. This new position has me interacting with Network Ten operators from all over Australia and also the other metro channels from Melbourne as I record, playout and capture footage and stories from a wide range of sources. I also run the FTP server for incoming footage and access all SD, HD and playout servers for new stories. I am also still involved in editing the news for the Ten early bulletins. I have found this work to be extremely rewarding and is something that interests me greatly and I would love to continue in this area. I have been involved in the writing, directing, producing and editing of short & feature films since 2006. During this time I have been nominated and won a number of awards in a variety of festivals and competitions. I have also taken on many other crew roles such as 1st Assistant Director, Gaffer, D.O.P, Writer, Runner, Camera Operator, Sound Recordist, Art Department and Continuity. These films that I have worked on have provided me with a lot of experience in the industry and involved me in every aspect of filmmaking. I have also been involved in television studio production since 2009 through RMI-TV, the television production group at RMIT. Here I have taken on many roles such as Editor, Switchboard Operator, Gaffer, Sound Recordist, Camera Operator, Floor Manager and Graphics Operator. I moved onto the managerial side of the film industry through starting my own short film festival, Running Shorts Film Festival in which I run advertising, sponsorship, taking entries, judging films and running the screening night. I attended RMIT from 2009 to 2010 having completed both my Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Screen & Media. Whilst studying I have taken many useful classes such as Television Production, Lighting, Screenwriting, Directing Performers, Production Management, Digital and Film Camera Operation, Editing and VFX, Sound Recording & Editing and OH & S. During this time I have gained many valuable skills, some of which are outlined below. I have been running my own production company, Muller Productions, for a number of years serving client needs for all types of video productions. I own and run the business myself, producing and editing corporate and training videos, educational films, music videos, TVCs and government commissioned community videos. Outside of work I am the captain of an American Football team that plays in the Gridiron Victoria league. I have been involved in the club since 2010 and the captain’s role I have been given has developed and consolidated my leadership skills as I lead the team of 40+ players each week. I have also been playing guitar for nearly ten years in which time I have performed many times both solo and as part of a band. I have had to work to tight deadlines and interact with a large team to complete edits successfully. I have also been entrusted to work alone and solve problems individually, as early Media Exchange Operator there are no other editors, supervisors or technicians starting for a number of hours so I must work through issues myself and find solutions. I feel I am confident in my workplace and can work well both on my own and in a team as a leader or contributing member. Throughout my time working in film I have developed a wide range of skills in many different areas of the industry. I am skilled in all aspects of working in the positions of Gaffer, Camera Operator, Camera Assistant, Runner, Sound Recordist, Script Supervisor, Switchboard Operator, Graphics Control, Director, Producer and have gained many other abilities in film-related work through my studies at RMIT and working with RMI-TV. In addition to Final Cut Pro I am experienced in the use of Avid, Adobe After Effects, Apple Motion and Vegas. I write and sell songs as full copyrights. (In other words, the ownership of the entire song is transfered to you and becomes "written by" you, and I recieve no future credit or royalties.) I only charge $100 for each song, and NO further compensation is required thereafter. I will re-write the song(s) as many times as you feel necessary until you are satisfied. All songs are sent to you as fully-produced music tracks---one with vocals for demonstration purposes, and one without vocals that you can use for live performances and/or recording your own vocal track. I specialize in the following genres: pop rock, acoustic pop, country pop, and pop ballads. I charge so little for these copyrights in order to make my services incredibly accessible and in hopes that you will hire me again for future projects. I write HIT QUALITY songs! You do not get second-rate material when working with me. Put me to the test and let me write your next hit song! I can also write lyrics for your already-existing songs for $50 per song. (100% of the songwriting credit remains yours.)

I have been a storyteller/artist/aspiring animator since I was 6 years old. I grew up on Disney, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon. To be an animator was always my dream, because you are free to create worlds, dreams, stories--you can literally realize your imagination. And nothing fuels my passion more than putting to life what your imagination has to offer. I love making new friends, sharing my ideas and hearing theirs, I love uplifting/inspiring people to follow their dreams because I am currently following mine--and it is a feeling like no other! If you want to meet me, msg me here or on FB: facebook.com/themarilee. I'd love to get to know you! :) Thank you for looking at my profile!
