Jessica Becker is a self-taught artist from Atlantic Beach, FL and currently living in Orlando, FL. She was voted "Best Local Visual Artist" and "Best Local Public Art" for her mural at restaurant TacoLu in FOLIOWEEKLY'S Best of Jax 2017 Magazine. She was also voted “#1 Artist in 904” in VOID Magazine 2017, 2016 and 2013 Issue. She knew at the age of five that she wanted to be an artist and taught herself to paint after receiving minimal art classes in school. She started painting in 2004 and paints in many styles as well as many sizes on different surfaces. Her murals are freehand painted by brush. One of her biggest mural is on the side of the 3-story restaurant TacoLu (1712 Beach Blvd) in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The mural was freehand painted with brush of Dia de los Muertos Virgen de Guadalupe and took 224 hours/35 days to complete. She has also painted many murals inside TacoLu, in their Milagro Room, Casa Noble Room, window murals, and Women/Mens Restroom (bar side). She started painting food trucks in 2012 and her artwork can be seen on the food trucks “Chew Chew”, “Eat Here Now”, and "Eddis & Sons" located in Jacksonville, FL. She also has murals in Miami, FL at the popular club SHOTS (311 NW 23rd St)in the Wynwood Area and participated in Art Basel 2014 in Miami, FL by painting a mural at the bar Brick (187 NW 28th St) on the Wynwood Art District strip. Her murals have been featured on CMT TV Series "Party Down South " S4/E6 South Beach in September 2015, in the book "Jacksonville Food Trucks" by Nancy White, THRASHER Magazine, Coastal Living Magazine, ConcreteWave Magazine, Miami New Times, Forthekrew Magazine, First Coast Where Magazine, Guest Advantage Magazine, as well as local publications VisitJacksonville Magazine, Jacksonville Magazine, and BUZZ Magazine. Her other passion is painting 3D canvases where she adds materials to the portraits she paints. She has a degree in Cosmetology and uses that skill to get the hair to match the portraits perfectly on the canvas. The rest of her process is learned through trial and error which she uses different elements to make the pieces look realistic. She has a variety of paint styles and challenges herself through each project she is faced with to make it more unique than the last and to give the impression of something never seen before. You’ll never get bored with her work.

I've been in graphics approximately 37 years, but have kept up with the technology. I've worked for print shops, a newspaper, magazines, a graphic house and am currently working at a University as the sole Graphic Designer. I have a strong background in design along with setting up camera ready artwork. I've been using Photoshop for about 12 years and also use Illustrator and InDesign. I was Art Director for a magazine in St. Louis for 5 years which included doing most of the ad layout, some camera work, photo shoots and press conferences. I would love the opportunity to do some freelancing on the side. I'm also an avid photographer, which is my passion. Thank you

I am a highly motivated and passionate individual with much experience in producing, writing, and editing short videos for international publication through both DVD and download format. From 2011- 2013 I was a Videographer and Multimedia Producer for the Charity Orgnaisation ‘Operation Mobilisation’, traveling nine countries around Asia and the Arabian Peninsula on a ship named ‘MV Logos Hope’. The vision of the organisation was to bring practical aid and educational resources worldwide. As Videographer my main responsibilities were producing, directing and editing promotional and documentary videos with relevant updated news and stories of the organisation. This role required the extensive use of Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, Soundtrack Pro and DVD Studio Pro. My work as editor and producer needed to remain creative and innovative to raise international awareness and support of the charity. As part of the Multimedia role, I was responsible for editing and producing television advertisements in multiple languages and adapting for upcoming events and promotions, as well as organising and managing data, video raids, and thousands of raw footage files stored on OS X Mountain Lion Macs. As a part time position I held the role of Media Relations Officer alongside my duties as Videographer, requiring me to be flexible and able to spontaneously host international broadcasters and journalists, accommodating their requests. The organisation drew much media attention and my role included advertising, hosting interviews, and building relationships and contacts with various media agencies in television, radio, magazine, and newspaper sectors. Additionally, I was responsible for monthly media statistics and reports sent to international Senior Directors and marketing managers. Previous to my work with Operation Mobilisation I worked in Starbucks for four years, developing to Store Manager and held responsibilities such as partner development and recruitment, monitoring store sales and targets, maintaining quality customer services and managing all store maintenance and repair. The job required high levels of multi-tasking, decision making, and composure in communication while managing complex customer and partner relations.
