I'm a full-time practicing and exhibiting artist from Kilkenny, Ireland. I work in traditional and digital mediums and particularly love to illustrate steampunk, fantasy, science fiction, character concepts and tattoos. I consider every piece whether personal or commissioned to be a chance to develop as an artist. I'm rather versatile and like to step outside my comfort zone.

My name is Linda Albrecht and I live am originally from NY. I am hoping this letter will provide you with a little information about my background and skills. Hopefully, someone will need what I have to offer. My office skills are duly noted on my resume. I should mention I have knowledge of medical terminology as I was a nurse in the 80's and part of the 90's. I had to quit when my son got severely ill with Asthma. I do have experience in medical transcribing. I design brochures, flyers, pamphlets, cards, logos. People have told me my special occasion cards are, "beautiful enough for framing". I have been designing all of these things not only for myself, but for others, as well for 12 years. I am savvy with words, creative with either fact or fiction. I am quick to come up with a jingle and I have experience copywriting/editing, personal profile (speeches, articles, resumes, and research writing. I am a self-taught, published (instructional and gratis) via two magazines- "Sarasota Downtown and Beyond" (for being the artist who created the coolest purse on the gulf coast)! A year after I was published, they went "web"- so I missed being seen on their site! Drat!! I created a bracelet at the request of Swarovsky Crystal and Mag-locs" and this original bracelet; pix, story behind and instructions were successfully published "Jewelry Craft" Magazine. The bracelets took off like a wild fire . . .I was selling A LOT of them and people were trying to do their own versions. Today . . .these bracelets are still popular! However, I successfully design and sell very meticulous jewelry using different mediums to get the desired look I want. I developed a "flexible process" that took over a year to perfect. This allowed me to paint not only dimensionally on delicate exotic skin, leather and satin bags, as well. These purses were are gorgeous - "classy not flashy" I sold them successfully in Carmen's on St. Armand's Cr., and in Jacobson's in Gross Pointe MI, and in Kansas. I also had a successful show at Bergdorf- Goodman in NYC. Jewelry design is my first passion . . .and I use excellent quality gemstones and precious/semi-precious metals and gemstones to create the look I want. If I have a vision . . .or if someone else has a vision . . .I will make it happen. Currently I am selling at Sandra French Stained Glass and Art Gallery. I also give lessons. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my profile and for your thoughtful consideration in hiring me for a job. PIX AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST!
