I was chosen by a professional artist and given an award. Assignments : at the age of 18 I was given the assignment to create and illustrate a childrens book, to which I did. Given a due date I was able to create multiple stories each with individual illustrations made by hand. Public art : I currently run an Instagram page where I display art pieces and drawings I’ve done, all very recent. Along with an account I manage on a public platform for young artists creating story lines or “comics”. Each drawing I do is completely by hand with little editing. Nominations : Many art teachers of mine throughout the years had nominated me for participation in many art shows/competitions, I was considered a prodigy and worked closely with them. During selections for Advanced Art students I was seen to have potential and had many wonderful opportunities to further my knowledge and love for the arts. Purchases : In my senior year of High School my Art Stock piece was purchased, $120 was echanged to display my hard work along with many other talented students in my graduating glass of 2016.
