I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Communication from American University in Washington DC, Class of '99. After graduation I embarked on my career as a director and filmed my first independent feature film, The Sunshine Deli & Grocery, in and around New York City in the summer of '00. The film played in several festivals in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and then won the Best American Feature Film Award at the New York International Independent Film Festival. At the completion of that process I branched out into theatre and even accepted a few Music Video directing jobs for TGO Records. In the theatre community I was very pleased to have worked on some of Canada's most historical theatres as both Director and Assistant Director in some amazing theatre productions such as Grease, Rent, Damn Those Wedding Bells, and Sunday Father. In addition to directing and writing projects I also went to work at The Talent House in Toronto for nearly four years as a Film & TV Agent. Having left all that to get married, settle down and have two children, I opted for the more secure route and went to work at the family business in Display Manufacturing. I rose through the ranks of the company quickly and was promoted to General Manager for the company's last seven years. One thing I can say is that for those seven years I always hoped to get back into my creative groove, and now I am doing just that!
