EXPERIENCE 2/2011 to Present Sr Software Developer - Healthways Inc. Chandler, AZ I am responsible for development and design of SQL Server 2008 Integration Services packages, SQL Server Stored Procedures, Tables and Functions as well as SQL Server Reporting Services reports. August 2010 – 2/2011 SSRS Report Writer/Database Developer – Productive Data Solutions, Tempe, AZ I was initially hired as a Contractor to develop SSRS reports for Healthways Inc. I did such a good job completing more than 60 reports ahead of schedule that Healthways, decided to use me on their other database projects. One such project utilized SQL 2008 R2 with Service Broker and XML messages. I was responsible for the development of nearly all of the Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Views, and XML based Service Broker messages. In the short time that I have been at Healthways I have made a significant contribution to three of their projects and utilized my .Net skills to write an RS deployment script that deployed reports to a distributed folder structure. 2007 – July 2010 Database Developer - INSIGHT North America Inc. Tempe, AZ I was responsible for the design and development of Stored Procedures, Tables, Views, Jobs, DTS packages and Reports. I provided production support and diagnostic duties. The SQL Technologies used as a full time employee with Insight are SQL 2008, SQL 2005, SQL 2000, SQL Reporting Services, XML/XSLT, and Visual Source Safe. I utilized Visual Studio 2005 in connection with SQL Server Integration and Business Intelligence Services development. I was Insight's resident Database tuning expert and was responsible for improving overall performance by over 1000%. I have recent experience with SQL 2008 CLR user defined functions, most notably; I designed and developed a function that performs XSLT transformations at the database level. This allowed us to store raw XML output from SAP into a SQL database and display it on the web in a manner that was very fast. Most recently I was encouraged to become an open source developer and did utilize technologies such as Java, JBOSS, and Subversion, but my primary focus was SQL Database Development. 2006 - 2007 Web Developer - Job Brokers Inc. Checkgateway Phoenix, AZ I was responsible for the design and development of Stored Procedures, Tables, Views, and Jobs. User Interface design utilizing Visual Studio 2005, C#, Javascript, Ajax, XML and CSS. While at Checkgateway I designed and developed a Document Center, a Custom SQL Reporting Services Report Viewer component and developed the User Interface for a Check Scanning and Authorization system. 2004 - 2006 Sr. Software Developer - AST Trust. Phoenix, AZ Some of my accomplishments at AST include a fully automated Positive Pay and NACHA file creation and delivery system. This system was designed using fully Object Oriented principals and utilized a Service Oriented Architecture. ProxyEdge is a C# application that automated the proxy voting process. This is a fully object oriented design that used SQL 2000 server and integrated with Advent Axys and Qube applications. While working as a full time employee with AST Trust I delivered many projects in a complete and timely manner. Technologies used as a full time employee with AST Trust are C#, VB.Net, SQL, SQL Reporting Services, VB6, UML 2.0, Sharepoint Services, ASP.Net, XML, Visual Source Safe.
