I am a freelance artist for hire. My influences are Dali, Basquiat, Esher, Degas and just about ANY artist truly able to express themselves. Technicality does not impress me. There are about a trillion portrait artists, still life artists...but for me...who are you? What makes you tick? Where has your subconscious taken you? These are questions I like to have answered.

I am a Columbia College graduate with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Film and Video and a major in the area of traditional animation. I am seeking an exciting position within my field in which I could both learn and utilize my skills as a character animator, script writing, story board pre-visualizing, illustrator, voice actor characterization and film production. As a student I produced an animated short, from conception through post-production, culminating in a presentation at the Manifest screening in Columbia College. Education Background: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Video - Columbia College Chicago/Spring 2009 My area of concentration includes 2D Animation which is the traditional animation that creates movement in a two-dimensional artistic space. The field of 2D Animation requires creativity, technological skills and teamwork focusing on creating characters, storyboards and backgrounds in two dimensional environments. Experience: Head in the Clouds - An Animation Production Studio/Team Project presented at Columbia College. As a key team member for this animation project my responsibilities included the following: • Key framing drawing that defined the starting and ending points of smooth transition, character animation specializing in the area of the animation process which referenced the animation of one or more characters featured in this animated effort. • Concept art that included a form of illustration where the main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design, idea, and/or mood for use in film, video games, animation, or comic books before it is put into the final product. This school based project is the equivalent to a one year on the job experience that allowed me to create original stories, concept art, editing, working as part of a creative team, expanding on group critique and where I learned to further develop my artistic animation talent. DDB Ad Agency I created an animated short for the DDB Ad Agency that was shown at the Field Museum. The task for this animated short story line was to create an animation from a fact. My assignment for this animated short was to bring the fact to life in a creative manner. The title of my one minute animated short was “I am How Old?” and it relates to the earth becoming old using humor to express the earth’s aging process. I worked on this project independently and it included the following skills: •Original story • Storyboards • Character design • Character animation • Editing • Coloring Academic Skills As a 2D animator I have excellent creative skills which allow me to design and define the character's frame of mind to aim a more believable character that involves the following attributes: o Original Stories o Concept Art o Storyboarding o Character animation/Key Frames o Drawing/Designing characters/Illustration o Voice acting (Character Voice interpretation) o Filming (Video Live Action) o Editing (Video, Sound) Proficiency in the following programs: o Opus program o Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects) o Vegas- editing program Language Fluency o Spanish (Fluent) o English (Fluent) o Japanese (Beginners Stage)
