I also made sure there was enough change in the safe for the holiday schedules. Aims: • To work with young people through community-based social development projects and initiatives to empower them to make responsible life choices. • To continue to hone my training skills, to offer effective Voice and Communication skills to clients. • To consistently investigate the state of education in South Africa, with a view to suggesting ways to make schools and tertiary institutions effective centres of development for all South Africans. • To assist previously disadvantaged young South Africans to gain access to quality educational opportunities. • To create and develop learning materials that will make learning an enriched and accessible experience for all learners. • To contribute in various meaningful ways through community-based projects to the fight against HIV/AIDS and poverty eradication in our country. • To create, publish and teach effective democracy education programmes for South African educators and learners. • To further the development of my scriptwriting and editing skills. • To use and develop my research, editing, literary and organizational skills in productive and meaningful ways. • To help previously disadvantaged South Africans achieve literacy and numeracy. • To commit myself to a programme of life-long learning in all spheres that will enhance my personal growth and contribute to the creation of a better South Africa for all. 6.
