I am part of a mural team called Damiru. The team was formed after doing community murals around the Cathedral of St Stephen in Brisbane. We worked on a Christmas mural and 2 trees of life as well as a forest created with the help of local children. With the Cathedral of St Stephen Art Group we painted around 70 meters of boards. This was for Christmas 2016 and into early 2017. During this time we worked with Caritas to paint their logo for the annual appeal launch on boards at the entrance of the cathedral. The team consists of: Dan Webb Michelle Bowden Ruby Purple We have completed private commissions and are presently one of the teams working on the West End Street Art Festival in October. All three members of the team are very experienced artist with decades of fine art work behind them. Our aim is to continue to beautify the world with our art and while working with community groups to help achieve their artistic dreams.
