General Over 20 years in graphic design, illustration and fine art. "Old World" traditional media and current New Media. Expert in illustrator, designer and photo manipulation in Photoshop. Content development expertise includes concept, branding, writing, research and photography. Academically educated (York University and University of Toronto) majoring in History; art school (Central Technical School-Fine Arts Dept.) and writing and research training (Humber College); traditional apprenticeship in oil painting and mural art for religious buildings. Accomplishments Recently completed a 600 page, full color, hard cover textbook on brick and stone masonry for apprentices, contractors and architects; the first ever for Canada. My contribution included front, back and spine art, page design and typography, technical writing, research, technical and decorative illustration and on-site photography. Other accomplishments include design of artistically sophisticated websites, with concept and content development and final art for new products and markets for the US and Canada. As a Philosophy and Methodology As a bit of a traditionalist, I'm a stickler for approaching all jobs with utmost professionalism, meaning that schedules must be kept and quality must remain high throughout. A review of my work will show that I am very detail-oriented and that I am comfortable with a wide range of styles, techniques and approaches. I spend significant amount of time researching current trends, historical successes, industry and business cultures, aiming always to place my clients' work at the top.

I have dabbled in fictional writing/poetry, am well-versed in writing factual, informative papers from my college days, and have recently finished my first book--a 25,000-word thesis for my Masters Degree. I have been writing extensively, in one form or another, for just over fifteen years. I love what I do, and THAT makes a huge difference!

I am a young and starting artist. My style is usually very painterly and loose but I can do tight work when its what is needed. I love to paint and draw and I'm a bit of a perfectionist so you know it will look good. Oil and acrylic is my specialty, I also love working with ink. I am very good at working from a photo so any portrait work I will be great at.

Hey Everybody! My name is Dan and I have a BA in Writing/Journalism from Mount Union College (ever hear of it? of course not). Anyways, I have a lot of passion for writing and I can do all different types just for you! I am eager and ready to help out with all kinds of editorial, so don't hesitate to contact me. I graduated from college this past May and moved to Orlando to start my career. Prior to graduating I completed an internship in Sydney, Australia, where I worked for a travel magazine. This internship taught me quite a lot and I got a good deal of writing published. I did every type of story, including travel features, music news, interviews, world news, and celebrity gossip. I know how to maintain a professional tone in my writing, but I can also write informally and keep the attention of the reader. The point I'm trying to make is that I can adapt to almost any style and I know I can produce the kind of content you're looking for. Admittedly I'm kind of new to this website and the professional world, so I'm still working on building a portfolio of my work, but you will find it on here very soon. In the meantime, feel free to check out my blog, which should be posted somewhere next to my picture over there. Be warned that you wont find the most "professional" content on there, but you'll be able to see that my spelling, sentence structure, and grammatical flow is very much intact. Are you beyond impressed with my qualifications?! No? Well I hope you're at least mildly impressed then. Update: I'm still working on bringing you more content, but here are the links to some interviews I've done. http://bbmlive.com/Celebrity-Interviews/revolutionary-thinking.html http://bbmlive.com/Celebrity-Interviews/relli-laughs.html http://bbmlive.com/Celebrity-Interviews/shanes-world.html?option=com_content&Itemid=22&catid=10&id=900&lang=en&view=article&fontstyle=f-larger

I am a passionate reader, reading several books a week. I usually have several books on the go at the same time ranging in subject from Horror, Mystery, Crime, Sagas and any non-fictional topic of current interest. Bad editing or grammar drives me insane - it breaks your imagination away from the story and out of the book's world; bringing you back to your current location and reminding you that you are still in your world. Why else read other than to escape reality and join another exciting place, period or world for a time! With experience from having completed two Bachelor Degrees and currently studying my Masters in IT, as well as 20 years experience working in Management, IT and currently as a Senior Manager for a university, I would love to be the person that ensures that your readers are never drawn from your world and that your book is not put down until the end of the gripping last page.
