I am a physically disabled 32 year old man that had brain surgery last year, and lost none of my cognitive abilities thankfully. Around the year 2005 I was married and moved to a smaller town in my home state Maine, the town of Norway. It is here that I applied and was accepted to the position of proofreader of the local newspaper "The Advertiser Democrat." I am 3 electives away from getting my B.A. in International studies from the University of Maine at Farmington. I am undergoing major life problems right now due to the brain surgery, which caused me severe emotional management problems. Prior to the job I held at The Advertiser Democrat, and since, as a matter of fact, I had problems holding jobs due to my epileptic seizures. My employers never liked the fact that I frequently fell and injured myself, which caused them three problems; customer alarm, bloody messes, and insurance costs increasing. I am looking to stop collecting disability and find a career, and proofreading is the only job that I have ever held and enjoyed. I can also proofread french, I speak and write it fluently. As part of my B.A. program I lived in France for six months, and returned with a letter from my professors saying that I was an excellent student and one of the best foreign exchange students that they had ever received. As a side-note, I graduated thirty-second in a class of over four hundred, and was received into the National Honor Society as a High School Sophomore. I continue my cognitive conditioning with books that I received while I was in the hospital after my brain surgery: books that are designed to heal the brain and I am just as intelligent as the day I went in for surgery. Another side note, my hourly rate is negotiable. Besides all of this, on another topic, when younger and still to this day, I am stronger even at mathematics than anything else. I can do long multiplication in my head, and have excellent math skills.
