I am a photographer and graphic designer. I use these mediums to best express my perceptions on life. These perceptions focus primarily on nature and the human involvement. My intentions are to convey ambiguity in these subjects. Combined media has been of a particular interest recently to strengthen the message of ambiguity and to recognize the beauty of the human subject and nature as a whole. I try to portray my work in a way that is unexpected and that will cause the viewer to question what they are looking at and what exactly makes the artwork compelling. I want my work to engage the viewer and to make it relatable to a general audience. One of my main goals is for the viewer to be able to identify with the images on a more expansive level. Silhouettes have also been a focus lately and I have tried pushing this idea in a way that is unfamiliar; not a typical silhouette that one would expect. Instead, I combine several delineations into one cohesive image that emphasizes the likenesses and differences of the human subject simultaneously. In the same way, the images of nature highlight the form rather than details. I use nature and human subject matter to portray the obscurities and uncertainties of life.
