I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and I was raised most of my life in Douglasville, Georgia. I had one of the great opportunities to have a Grandfather, a Mother and an older Brother that had the ability to draw and draw well. I remember going through my mothers sketches and wanting to draw just like her. With my Mothers love, kindness and enthusiasm for art it made it easier for me to pursue this journey as an Illustrator. Since I was a little girl, I was always fascinated with children’s books. The bright colors and the great imagination from the illustrators as well as the writers. It was a joy to have my parents read to me everyday so I can dream about those images and travel through their imagination. My parents have always taught me that, “If you have IMAGINATION, you can do anything you want!” I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. I received a Bachelors Degree for Illustration. The journey at SCAD-Atlanta was exciting and sometimes very tiring, but at the end of the day all the great and hard work gave me joy to my heart. My dreams and goals is to be able to create wonderful characters and bring them to life. And for kids and parents to appreciate them as much as I do. I love creating illustrations for kids, they have such a huge imagination and they never know the word..”I can’t!” I hope that my illustrations can bring kids and parents together as ONE!

I really enjoy writing in general, and am able to write just about anything from a funny blog post to a dramatic novel. Need things done quickly? I'm your girl. I work very well with deadlines and have NEVER been late on a deadline involving writing. I have been writing for about 15 years and have had a couple of poems published. Now, I'm in the process of getting my first novel published. I do research on the topic I'm writing about to make sure I have all the needed information to write the best product possible.

Creative Writing, Poetry, Essays. Painting pictures and emotions with words. Contentment Walk slowly through the garden Bask in the warming harmony of perfectness Embrace the feeling as your senses sharpen Breathe life, touch, taste, feel the calmness Come alive, enjoy these glorious days Steadily the gentle breeze cools While tree leaves dance and the music plays Innocence playfully splashes in the pool Not yet scarred by experiences and hardships Stars gleaming in a clear moonlit sky The softness of a kiss on loving lips Make a wish as a star shoots by Pictures dutifully storing all memories Long summer nights when parents can become kids For later times to be passed down in stories Life slips past quickly with closing eye lids A doe glaring from a green grass field Life’s blissful enjoyment, nature’s natural beauty Believe in what you feel, observe all that is real Side by side we can spend our eternity.
