Above all else, I am a tinkerer. Plain and simple. Whether it was the broken toaster when I was five, or my first car when I was 16, I have always reveled in the simple and satisfactory act of making things work. It’s an art as much as it is a process, simultaneously satisfying both hemispheres of my brain. Every day I go to work and I’m handed a puzzle, and it’s my charge to piece it all together. I’ve spent my years filling my toolbox with an array of gadgets and gizmos to get the job done, all the while growing a steady hand at using them. Some pieces might call for Avid or Final Cut, some for After Effects or Cinema4D, and others, a hammer. Depending on the task, I assume the role of editor, or animator, designer or programmer. I chisel, and hone, and polish. In a word, I tinker.
