PROFILE My name is Matt Ellsworth, and I am an Emmy nominated video editor and motion graphics designer with a diverse background of various work environments. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects anywhere from local TV stations and post production houses to national clients and ad agencies such as: Leo Burnett, Comcast, GolfTV, First Financial Merchant Services, and FPX. Using my skills as a video editor and motion graphic designer, I have created everything from commercials and promotional web videos to music videos and short films. I currently run my own freelance motion graphics and video editing business titled Ellsworth Dynamic, where I work directly with numerous clientele to produce and edit only the best videos, and create the most creative and innovative motion graphic designs -- as well as storyboarding, on-site video production, editing, compression, sound editing, special visual effects, rotoscoping, and compositing. I’ve lead numerous projects and executed clients’ needs on a variety of video and motion graphic design projects, taking extra care to carefully follow the clients’ creative and aesthetic suggestions while also providing my own, thereby creating a true creative, collaborative effort. Using state of the art equipment and several years of experience, I have also provided clients with on-site video production for corporate meetings, testimonials video shoots, and training videos. Early in my career, a colleague and I created a short film and entered it into a natiion-wide film contest. Our film came in first place which resulted in a trip to Hollywood, CA and VIP tickets to the 1998 Golden Globe Awards. Later in my career, in 2002, I created a television spot for Comcast which was then nominated for an Emmy. While I was involved in every step of the process with this spot, it was my motion graphic design efforts which resulted in the Emmy nomination. I am highly proficient with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Final Cut, and Cinema 4D. No matter the scale of the project, I am armed with the experience and skills you need to achieve the best creative solutions for your video needs. My resume and demo reel can be found on my website at: http://www.ellsworthdynamic.com I am available for onsite or offsite contract work. Contact me and let’s create something incredible! I am very creative and imaginative, I enjoy anything and everything to do with entertainment, innovation and idea's - I love writing (script writing, songs, poetry, stories, articles, jingles, etc), scrapbooking, designing, fashion, music and photography. I love nature and the universe - plants, animals, stars, space, the oceans - I love it all! I would love to study zoology, biology and astrolog, but I also want to do music production, script writing photography, design, journalism and philosophy. I also enjoy advertising and marketing, computers and psycology. I also enjoy working with numbers and computers and with finances (calculating costs, etc). I currently am learning to play the keyboard as well as the theory of music, next year I hope to enroll in ASE (the Academy of Sound Engineering), I am saving up so that I can take a short course in writing and in photography and one of my biggest goals is to learn to speak Spanish. I would love to work for National Geographic as a feild journalist/photographer. I am also an online member of PETA (they don't have a base in South Africa that I know of) and I have a blog 'footstepsforme' dedicated to the world and universe. My main goals in life are: *To make a real difference in the world *To learn spanish *To travel *To work with animals and volunteer my time to deserving causes *To live life in beauty and always keep my child spirit alive *To learn to professionally cook (the cooking schools are too costly to apply) I am a mix between being a dreamer - living with my head in the clouds - and being grounded. I am equally interested in facts and knowledge as I am in idea's and imagination, and I am as equally intelligent as I am creative. I love learning new things and gaining knowledge, I want to know as much as I can, I want to be involved and make a difference and I want to make my life as meaningful, beautiful, magical, fun, exciting and 'me' as possible. My hobbies are: Pottery (I learned potter in primary school) Playing Keyboard Scrapbooking Music Writing and Reading Nautre (In primary school i used to take a nature class) Gardening Typing Cooking - if I could go to chef school it would be like a dream come true *There are so many more but I wont name them all.*
