I began writing poems about 5 years ago and have written over 600 poems. They are about love, both good and gone bad, some futuristic, social and political commentary, and some are on the dark side involving ****** and mayhem. I have been working at warehouse jobs and some security involved jobs and i get no satisfaction from them. Writing poems gives me much joy and i would like to share that joy with others.

I'm an artist not by profession but by choice. I could say I've always been drawing action figures since second grade and now I'm in my mid twenties. I am more focused on comic art and footwear visuals(sneakers to be exact). I've been doing art as a hobby for most of my life. My artwork is generally free hand, I was recently introduced to digital art and I'm still learning. I'm currently doing an open learning degree in Risk Management to be completed in 2014. I have worked in a call center agent from 2010 to 2011, I was let go as the company was down sizing its operations.the After that I was in the retail industry, as an assistant for the greater part of 2011 all the way into 2012. I worked 3 months as a bar man in 2012, left as my contract had expired.

My diverse background in the Visual Arts, has made me skilled in many areas, including but not limited to, illustration (traditional and fashion related), and painting. My strength is having the innate ability to conceptualize any idea given with little direction, and with great precision. My focus on the details and ability to always to present a quality project, has repeatedly resulted in a happy client. Respectfully, Artist and Educator Jennifer West

I'm currently an undergraduate student. I've been asked to write, illustrate and edit pieces, including essays, short stories and a children's book. In high school, I received a 2280 on my SAT with full credit in the writing portion. Right now, I'm willing and able to take on any proofreading/editing jobs, and most poem or short prose opportunities, however I do not currently have the time to take on larger commitments such as books. Additionally, I spent the past summer in China, therefore, I can lend legitimate experience to writing pieces of related topics.
