I have recently returned from studying my third year in Florence, Italy through the Ontario College of Art and Design as a Painting and Drawing major. This experience has taught me to be hard-working and independent, and I am very self-motivated when it comes to creating artwork. Generally, I love painting or drawing people, whether in a portrait or part of a fuller/ more complex image. I do enjoy many forms of art though, and am open to many things like still life, book covers, almost anything!

OBJECTIVE: Pursue a career that enables me to practice and continue to learn my craft of painting, drawing and photography through experiences brought on by every day life. . QUALIFICATIONS Using my abilities learned and observed to portray a subject in the best possible way. My technique in drawing allows sharp, precise imagery, and my approach to painting offers vibrant colors and deeper levels to a subject. Using darkroom and studio techniques, along with the desire to create a dramatic atmosphere in my photography, builds on the creativity that drives my art. The opportunities to teach both drawing and photography classes, as well as tutor students in painting, drawing and photography classes, have better honed my abilities in each area. I have taught art courses every year since 2001, including private lessons. With such tasks as matting, canvas stretching, etc. I am able to present my work or others’ work with a more hands-on approach, rather than paying others to do the work. I am currently in collaberation with a writer in creating a graphic novel, which involves storyboard format. Curt Chiarelli has been providing design, sculpture and illustration services for the motion picture/television, toy/collectible, video game, museum exhibit and publishing industries for nearly 25 years. A native born and bred Chicagoan, Curt began his career early at the age of 20 when he was contracted to create storyboards for the McDonald’s Corporation. At the age of 23 and barely after receiving his B.A. in Communication Arts from Columbia College, he became this country's youngest production designer when he was hired by HBO to art direct a comedy feature presentation, Men Will Be Boys. From that point forward he began to receive a steady stream of commissions until his first major career breakthrough occurred in 1991 when he created the stop-motion animation model of the character, Goro for the Williams Electronics international blockbuster hit video arcade game, Mortal Kombat. In 1994 he left his staff position in the Exhibit Design Department at the John G. Shedd Aquarium to accept an invitation from Skellington Productions to join their team in the creation of the stop-motion animation models and effects for the feature length motion picture, James and the Giant Peach. Noticing that his employment prospects were much enhanced and the weather far more accommodating, he decided to remain in the balmy climes of California for the next 13 years. Now, 15 years later, after having his work featured in the prestigious Spectrum anthologies, enjoying a rewarding collaboration with world renowned fantasy illustrator, Boris Vallejo and tackling such high-profile commissions as the creation of the action figures for the Halo video game product line, the advertising campaign assets for The Age of Empires III: The War Chiefs and theatrical masks for a collaborative effort between Cirque du Soleil Productions and illusionist, Criss Angel, Curt has moved to the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area where he continues to teach advanced-level university courses and to create work of distinction for such clientele as Microsoft Corporation/Bungie Studios, Miller Brewing Company, Capital One, Gemmy Corporation, Walt Disney Productions, Universal Studios, Steve Johnson's Edge FX, Michael Curry Design, Chiodo Bros. Productions, Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, Cartoon Network, MTV, HBO, IMAX, Lucasfilm Licensing, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros. Toys, RC 2 Corporation/JoyRide Studios, Hasbro Toys, Mattel Toys, Kenner Toys, Moore Action Collectibles, McFarlane Toys, Playing Mantis Toys, Fisher-Price Toys, Dark Horse Comics, Diamond Comics Distribution, Conte Collectibles, Franklin Mint, Noble Collection, Ashton-Drake Galleries, Illusive Concepts, 3DO/Cyclone Studios, Electronic Arts, Accolade, the Field Museum of Natural History and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, amongst many others. Member of the National Sculpture Society, the Arts Alliance of Yamhill County, the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, the Film Music Society and the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists.

Hi, I’m Kim and this is just a little about me: My stories reach not only preschool children but people of all ages. They have a purpose and a meaning imbedded in fantasy. They cover issues such as helping others, loving family and friends, having fun and working hard to accomplish your dreams; they include characters from aliens to bears, elephants, and people. The stories not only touch on humanity but they are fun and easy to read. There is a nonfiction book on bears, a visit from friendly alien visitors that the characters help to get back to their planet, a giant cookie that befriends a town and teaches the town the lessons of life and much more. My background in psychology and public relations and marketing as well as my experience in an intensive Honors program at Cabrini College has helped me to develop my voice. There I learned lessons of life, as well as spirituality and the religions of multiple cultures. It was an eye opening experience and it allowed me to develop my own spirituality which is a combination of many. That, along with the experience of loss has helped me to reach my highest potential; for only through loss do we grow. KIM REALE (716) 720-1363 FLORIDA To whom it may concern: I am seeking employment in marketing and writing. I have experience with authoring children's books, writing creatively, professional writing, community relations, advertising, sales, customer service, as an administrative assistant and have a distinguished academic record. In my life, I haved worked for the campaign of a District Attorney and organized a fundraiser in which I secured donations and ensured hospitality for the prominent guests. I also have experience in sales, marketing, and customer service. In working for Invite Health, I helped the company build from the ground up as it was the first branch in Florida. Academically, I have achieved many awards and honors. I presented my research paper, "Excercise and Mood in the Young Adult Population", to the 2005 National Honors Conference. I also earned the highest GPA at Cabrini College while enrolled in an intensive honors program. At Cabrini and elsewhere I have volunteered at numerous places which has helped to give me a diverse background in working with the public. I helped to establish the Ophelia Project in schools in the tri-state area (Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York) which is a mentor program for at-risk girls. I also worked in a soup kitchen in Delray Beach, Florida and organized a Halloween party for underprivileged children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, I am in school to finish my Bachelors degree in public relations and marketing. These experiences have helped me creatively and as a result I have authored nine educational children's books for preschool age children. I also paint and write poetry. I welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications and career opportunities. Please feel free to contact me anytime with any creative and professional opportunities at (716) 720-1363 and kimberly0384@homail.com. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Kimberly Reale
