Hello, my name is Casey McGuire. I am 19 years old and I am looking to make some money in my spare time as a singer/writer/motivational speaker. I have been singing my entire life, and my influences include a number of different musical styles and genres, including but certainly not limited to: classic rock, the blues, jazz, soul, R&B, punk rock, and alternative rock. As I don't have the recording or production equipment necessary to post an example in my portfolio, you will just have to take my word when I say I am far from tone deaf. I am willing to audition for any work that involves singing before the job is given to me, since I can't provide an example online. I can also play rhythm guitar and am constantly practicing my lead blues guitar work. I recently took a writing 121 class at my local community college, in which I received an A, as part of my Associates of Science transfer degree. I can contact the professor that gave me this grade as a reference if need be, and though a grade in an early college-level writing class doesn't speak endlessly to my merit, I believe that the quality of the work will be up to par with most professionals. I am meticulously and almost obsessively aware of my grammar and vocabulary use. I am willing to write just about anything, as I am confident in my ability to produce quality pieces based on accurate and unbiased research on any topic. I also have references from past jobs that can speak to my dedication, hard work, and positive attitude. Life hasn't always been the easiest for me, but I believe I have the skills to be a valuable asset to many, especially when those skills require wielding a pen or singing.

An overall goal of this project was to use 50% flyash, as a percent of the total cementitious material, for all concrete placed on this project. The proportions of flyash to cement were selected over a range to identify environmentally friendly concrete mix design with the lowest generated CO2 emissions during the production of cement. While the goal of an environmentally friendly product is desirable, the material also had to be feasible to support construction-scheduling requirements for surface finishing, formwork removal, and adequate strength to support construction service loading. The physical properties of the fresh ready mixed concrete were tested and measured for slump, temperature, air content, and initial time of set and final time of set.
