Writing has always been a huge part of my life. It is easier for me to express myself this way than verbally. I have been interested in writing since second grade, and I have always loved to read. I received my Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I wrote a 20-page paper on William Blake for a British Lit class my sophomore year in college--the rough draft received an A, the final, an A+. I minored in History. I write poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. I am working on an on-going process--a collection of poetry written by me, illustrated by my husband. I am a teacher.
