I have been writing poetry, short stories, and novellas for the past 15 years. Studied arts at my local community college and have been published 8 times in their magazine 'Tuscarora Review'. I am an artist of many mediums; writing, painting, drawing, woodworking, photography, and sculpture. My work has sold in various venues including gallery shows, coffee shops, small business retail, my business 'Images for Everyone', and freelance contract work. I have won contests in Photography and general arts. I have awards and certificates received from grade school all the way through college and as an amateur. I did an internship with a subsidy of the Washington Post, written a novella with special permission to help preserve Native American Language and Symbolism, and participated as an artist in "The Pink Ribbon Path Project" to raise money for breast cancer research; sponsored by my local Art Association in Frederick, Maryland. I work out of my home studio and anywhere I need to go to get the job done. I prefer to stay within my local as I do not drive. If I need to get somewhere transportation can be arranged.

Although it probably is considered by many that may view my profile that I should perhaps be classified as an Amateur Artist, with respect I would say that as a serious Artist I certainly am not content to practice Art as mere pastime or hobby (not that there is any thing wrong in my opinion in doing so as a hobby) but I maintain a professional art attitude & seek to gain recognition as a Fine Artist which I have yet to achieve and to maintain Artistic Skill. I believe, without intending to be immodest, my work to be of a reasonable Professional Standard and Merit. Having no awards, recognition, noticeable track record or accreditation to my name I would invite the potential client not to dismiss my artistic credibility, but view my art in this gallery to see if the the works speak for themselves. I am able to produce to order, Portraits Landscapes, Illustration and Hand Graphics: Most of the works in this gallery are available for sale which can be posted anywhere in UK, USA, Canada, Europe & Brazil offered at a realistic cost. Inquiries are welcomed from other countries not mentioned. Available to undertake Commissions please visit https://www.freelanced.com/joh…

I am a freelance writer with a penchant for proofreading. I love researching, reviewing and resolving issues. When I write, instructional and how-to pieces are my favorite. I also enjoy sharing my opinions with reviews. My willingness to take on new projects and topics is infinite. I love a challenge! Before venturing into the world of freelance writing, I spent 10 years working for a health insurance company. The first five years were spent in a billing department where I reconciled billing, drafted letters for member notifications, created workflow documents and responded to complaints from our department issues up to formal complaints filed with state Department of Insurance agencies. I also designed an informational website for our customer service teams to reference the general information of our policies. During the second five years, I worked for our wellness program areas. I responded to inquiries from members and employers alike. I drafted monthly letters for, and participated with, our Rewards & Recognition program. I also served as a team lead for a two year project to transfer our paper questionnaire to an automated format. Some of my skills include 65 words per minute typing and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point systems. I have excellent written and verbal communications skills and an exceptional attention to detail. I am so pleased I found her! Christine went out of her way to give a professional reading, working to a tight schedule and adapting this according to my demands. I am more than happy with what she found - I am not sure I could have got it finished without her. I fully recommend Christine to other authors. Reliable, professional and a lovely person!
