Growing up my mother encouraged me to draw and be creative at every opportunity. I was always fascinated by nature and how every living organism was able to live an thrive in their environment. In secondary school Biology was my favourite subject, I loved learning about the processes of evolution and natural selection. I went on to study Zoology and Marine science at the University of Otago, New Zealand. In 2015 I attended the Otago Polytechnic School of Veterinary Nursing and have now graduated with a National Certificate in Veterinary Nursing. I am looking for ways in which I can combine my passion for illustration with my fascination of biological processes in order to help educate and inspire others to care for and protect this beautiful planet on which we reside. I also enjoy storybook Illustration and am available for commissions. www.facebook.com/sharonjonesart
