Press release description of one of my gallery exhibitions in Chelsea, New York, New York. " The wife of the great American Artist Edward Hopper once said of him, "It took me a long time to realize that when he is looking out the window, he is working." This rare meditative observation and piercing insight into what lies beyond the artist's studio unites Washington state artist Daryl Jay Frank to the brilliant Modern Master. Both artists concentrate on the revelatory of distinct American life _ in both the celebratory and the challenging times. His paintings display the vivid realistic eye one might expect from an expert photographer, with pictures that tell a rich and detailed story, primarily centered on those individuals who populate the art.It is the whole sphere of American life that Mr. Frank makes public." I have just finished and am currently working on publishing my first children's book. I wrote the story and illustrated it. It is titled " The Apple That Would Not Fall From the Tree." I studied at The University of Miami, Fla., Northern Illinois University & The Evergreen State College. I have exhibited many times in New York City, Wash ington State & California. Past clients include: Northwest Folklife Festival City of Enumclaw EZ Image Software Prosito's Restaurant Washington Citizen Action

I have worked in the publishing industry for several years. My previous employer was a small publishing company named Counting Coup Press, where I worked as an editor and an assistant to writers looking to adapt their novels to screenplays. In total, I have worked on seven scripts for these writers. My strengths are knowing how to cut a book while staying true to the original voice, adapting books into scripts and finding the right tone for any project.

I'm a 22 year old free lance illustrator/full time whovian, situated in Chester, Cheshire UK. I live with my husband and son (who we are raising to be well-versed in all of Geekdom) and our many rabbits! I have always been obsessed with art and drawing from a young age. One of my proudest achievments from my childhood was doing a whole mural at my primary school by myself at the age of 11 because my teachers liked what I had painted in my art book. My work is inspired from all the things that I enjoy and obsess over. Basically I am a nerd that loves to draw, and I love what I do. I also raise loads of money for the Cystic Fibrosis trust by doing all kind of crazy things.
