I work as an editorial coordinator for four major and national nursing publications: Pediatric Nursing, Nursing Economic$, Nephrology Nursing Journal, and ViewPoint. If you do some Googling, they'll certainly come up. I've worked on these publications for the last five years and I assist with the editing and preparation of medical articles for publication. In addition, I am also a struggling writer. I actually have two novels coming out over the next two years, one of those being a middle-school/young adult book that I hope to turn into a series. I am looking to do some editing on the side to make a little extra money. Lastly, I am nearing the end of another novel freelance job. I responded to an add on Craigslist from a local writer looking for someone to perform an editorial pass on his manuscript. The manuscript was roughly 130 pages and I expect to have completed the editing over a period of 7 total hours.
