Art has been a huge part of life since a child. That sweet temporary escape you feel when tuning your mind into a painting, poem, or music, has major impact for every single person. I like to think I contribute to that experience by creating paintings, accompanied by stories I write, to further the artistic journey. The stories I conjure can describe the meaning behind my work and/or expand on an idea, or tease the imagination. My inspiration derives from many things. I like to think that my art achieves a wide range of themes that can attract the eye of most individuals, because there is so much to see and feel in life...why limit interpretations. To sum it all up, ART is a world I can escape to, to feel free and powerful through colour, texture and design. Please feel free to contact me!

I have several books which have been published: all in the Christian market: three are in the Children's Ministry Guide to... series. My bestseller is the Children's Ministry Guide to Dealing with Disruptive Children. Alongside these are two books aimed at Youth leaders: 101 Dynamic Ideas for your Youth Ministry; and Dynamic Youth Leadership: Principles in Practice, plus two more story-book style rewrites of Bible books: Acts of God and Dan the Man. In addition, I have professionally penned five sell-out musical show scripts; four of these were based on parables of Jesus, taking the form of pantomimes; the series began with 'Step-Mamma Mia!', the story of the prodigal son told using characters from the fairy tale about Cinderella with 11 Abba songs. My recent work includes more than 160 Bible curriculum sessions, with teachers' notes, activity ideas, worksheets, accompanying magazines and articles. My blog http://thelostsonvariations.blogspot.com features a range of ways in which to tell the familiar story of the Parable of the Prodigal Son: using poetry, pastiche, dialect, keywords, alphabetical games, a collection of styles, alliteration, viewpoint and so forth. I have proofread manuscripts professionally, and provided editing services to a number of colleagues while working for a publishing house. I am currently self-employed, and willing to consider writing/editing/proofing jobs.
