I am a person who can make something from just about anything'' I am 47yrs old and motivated When I was growing up being the second born child out of 5 siblings.being, I spent most of my time helping parents and grand parents around the house and in my spare time I would Create Models, paintings and drawings or fixing and painting bikes (custom) and much more' as I attended school throughout my life art was always an influenced by wood shops or metal shops and art classes etc. were always an automatic Grade of A'' for me. My first Job after High school was a silk screener after that I had worked at sizzlers for 2 yrs, sky chef at the international airport in san diego for 2yrs, P.W.C. in point loma for 1yr, C.O.M.O in North Island for 2yrs. but yet during this time I always have found time to keep my passion for art alive. I have always been able to create something from what ever I see that was trashed or discarded or given to me from others. I have Worked with many different media's of art as well as all types of tools saws, plasma cutter, ,drills etc. and materials. I’ve sold many of my creations that were Bikes, Automobiles, Model Cars, Planes and much more. Some even moving and lighting up with a flick of a switch displayed in a case of glass or Plexiglas. I like doing custom Bike orders the most because it was a challenge and I always have Ideas In my head to help out in times where a good idea is needed, when others have come up empty as to what is needed or needs to be done or created. I’m a very quick learner and love to learn of things I do not know. I have been working in company as customer service and bill collections for over 15yrs. I have also worked full time in general maintenance, I also stared playing base guitar. I love most all music Blues. rockabilly, rock, jazz, bluegrass and even classical to heavy metal and some techno at times Yet again, during this time I always have found time to keep my passion for art alive. I may have all the skills you might be seeking and I can learn your ways and have the motivation in life to try my best and do my best at Creating art in whatever type of media you are in need for. I’m very open minded and learn from all. I see hear and will flow with whatever and whomever may come in the path ahead and always strive for finished in harmony in all I do. Her mediums of choice are gouache, an opaque watercolour, and acrylic. Nicola Tancrel was born in 1978 and grew up in Graaff-Reinet, South Africa, a stark oasis in “The Little Karoo”, a beautiful part of the world where the surrounding landscape inspires an affinity with nature. Nicola's parents, Sharon and Michael Tancrel, acclaimed South African airbrush artists, were her teachers; her first group show was at the age of 16. Nicola studied Art Direction, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Event Management and Photography; and has practiced Interior Design. Nicola's older paintings reflect the Irish landscape, having lived in Dublin for 6 years, completely captivated by the beauty of the Irish landscape. Having moved back to her home country, Nicola now lives in Cape Town in the shadow of Table Mountain, where she is painting work inspired by South Africa's natural beauty.
