It was presented to the business/public at a local high-end hotel. Local professionals were sent invites for a breakfast, the RCDC presentation (given by myself and a local CEO, who was also President of RCDC), and an overall economic view of our country, given by nationally acclaimed writer and author, Brian Westbury. Brian also sold his latest book at this event. Hired by Copps Food Centers to design a presentation for Supermarket Manager of the Year. After leaving the company, they called me to work for them with another photographer and writer, to create presentation for IGA headquarters. In the spring of 2000, I was notified that Julie Schulfer, had won the competition, again among 1000’s of competitors. I was honored to be a part of the presentation team, to say the least. Copps Corporation: Created a presentation that encompassed the career of IGA Retailer, Bernie Enkro (Wisconsin Rapids native and owner of seven IGA stores.) I worked with an area writer and photographer to design a history book of Bernie’s accomplishments. This was submitted to IGA headquarters in Chicago for judging in June, 1998. In October, I was asked to accompany Bernie & his wife to Orlando, Florida, where he was awarded International Retailer of the Year. (Competition was between thousands of Independent Grocers Internationally.)
