I studied animation at Brigham Young University, but moved with my husband to an area where it is difficult to get any creative work. My specialties are 2d drawings, 3d modeling and 3d rigging of characters. I do not currently have access to a 3d program, but can draw anything digital, and can copy different art styles.

I am a twenty four year old recent graduate of 2012. I intend to focus on my digital painting skills, and hope to gain a place as a Game Art internee. ~~~~~~~ Education Edinburgh College of Art: 2012 BA (Hons) in Animation Worksop College [High School/Sixth Form]: 2005–2007 -Awarded the Art Scholarship. At age 16, having gained my GCSEs, I wanted to undertake A-levels in Fine Art, Textiles and Digital Photography. AS results: Fine Art – A Textiles – A Digital Photography – A Biology – E A-Level Results: Fine Art – A Textiles – A Digital Photography – A St. Elphin’s: 2000-2005 GCSE Results: Fine Art – A* Textiles – A* English Literature – A Dual Award Science – A/A Information Technology (I.T) – A Religious Studies (R.S) – A English Language – B Maths – B Sheffield High School for Girls: 1995–2000 Education – Exchange trips / volunteering 2004–2012 2013 - Worked on preproduction storyboards and designs at Pitstop Productions 2012 – Did work experience at Pitstop Productions and part time work experience at Tupton Hall School in Chesterfield. 2009-2010 - Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Baltimore, USA. This is a much-prized prestigious Exchange Scheme, in which only one place was on offer. In order to get accepted I had to go through a two pronged selection process, here in the UK carried out by ECA, which involved the submission of an extensive portfolio. From over 100 applicants I was selected by ECA as their candidate. From this point my portfolio was submitted to Maryland Institute College of Art for their approval of my candidacy. I was duly accepted. The classes that I took during my time at MICA were: Intro to 3D animation 3D Landscape Stop – Motion Animation Post Production Life Drawing There is no course on 3D animation at ECA and so it was my aim to gain experience and insight, into this field. My period of study and experience of the course has made me aware of the direction I wish my future to take. I was especially influenced by the time spent with Jay Gillen, who is a Senior Environmental Artist at a gaming company in Baltimore. I studied 3D landscape in an advanced class. I am convinced because of my experience, that my future lies in the field of Concept Art. During my time at MICA I was privileged to visit the Big Huge Games Company and gain some insight into their working environment. This also has influenced my thinking. 2007 and 2005 - Caretta Research Project (Savannah, Georgia, USA) The key goal of the project is to monitor loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta) activity and to protect nests on Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge, Chatham County, Georgia. A second goal is to educate the public on issues related to conservation and management of marine turtles via hands-on participation. For nine days, as a volunteer, I lived on an uninhabited island in a small group of eight people, two of whom were researchers. From this opportunity I gained experience of working efficiently in a group as well as having the chance to pursue my love of nature and study the animals in their natural environment. 2006 - Otakon (Anime convention, Maryland, Baltimore, USA). Otakon has developed from a very small convention in State College Pennsylvania, to one of the largest anime cons in America. The 2006 convention lasted for three days. In that time, it gave me a chance to experience first hand, how other artists, who share the same interests as me, develop their skills, and it exposed me to different styles of character designs. 2004 - Exchange trip to Würzburg, Germany for one week. I lived with a German family and attended school, including German language classes. I found this beneficial in helping me to adjust to change on unfamiliar ground, whilst still adhering to a structured school day. Other information • Skills – Adobe Photoshop, Aftereffects, Premier, Final Cut. • I was accepted in 2005 by US Ringling College of Art and Design, Sarasota to undertake a BA honours degree in illustration. I declined the offer since I wanted to attain my A-Level qualifications in the UK. • I have spent time during school vacations in the families Sign and Screen-printing business. • I hold a Florida American drivers’ licence.
