I am a professional illustrator/ designer as well as a sculptor I've been taking commissions and selling work since 2010. I've sold designs on t-shirts, stickers, i-phone cases and more. I love to create work in the genre of fantasy and sci-fi as well as just strange and bizarre looking designs and illustrations. I can produce a variety of different types of drawings ranging from figure work, creatures, landscapes and environments. Typically I prefer to work with pencil and ink combined with digital coloring, but I also work with acrylics, markers, earthen clay, polymer clay, and charcoal.

Having just exited my second unsuccessful marriage, I am looking toward the horizon with trepidation and exhilaration at the prospect of living authentically, by my own rules, for the first time in my life. I feel reborn, the daunting unknown ahead, coupled with the experience of 50 plus years behind me, amounts to a life under construction. Like my oil paintings, a blank canvas, comes to life with each stroke of the brush. The background of my canvas is already created, colored by the years, but the details, the heart of the painting, are yet to be determined by the choices I make. I am a self-taught oil painter and have sold several paintings without promotion, but rather through several occasions where my work was simply seen. I would describe my work as realism with elements of background impressionism. Roughly one-week following the finalization of my divorce, I was laid off due to the economy after thirteen-years at the workplace. I began honing my creative writing skills through publications at Hubpages.com and have since been writing general articles for an online writing enterprise. What I initially perceived as a crushing blow, has allowed me the time and motivation to explore where my passion lies in artistic endeavors.

Hi, my names Michelle and I am 19 years old. I have become interested in possible complex/simple book illustrations. I have never done this before but would love to try it out. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I have not done work in the past as far as jobs go, so in other words I am an amature. None-the-less, I feel I am capable of possibly doing illustration jobs for others if given the chance. As far as my ability goes, in the past, I have won been in two art contests and placed 2nd and Honorable mention. Not the best but being placed, i assume, is better then nothing. -Thanks

I have been working in commercial video editing for more than 5 years, using Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects and similar tools on a daily basis. I have been responsible for transforming raw footage into finished, ready-for-posting-or-broadcast product, including selecting clips, adding audio, color correction, captioning and titles, and animation. My work has been used by many of the major Silicon Valley companies and has appeared on network broadcast television. I am a native speaker of Spanish, but for the last five years have worked in an English-language professional environment, so I am comfortable working in both languages. I am based in San Jose and have worked mostly in Mountain View.
