I’m a professional stand-up comedian and writer with a diverse array of experience that includes writing and/or editing speeches; treatments; memoirs; scripts; fiction; jokes; technical manuals; poetry; and anything else with words on it. Stand-up is my main passion so I’m always looking for more opportunities to hit the stage. I’ve performed in Vegas, all over the east coast, and many places in between. I’ve opened for Sebastian Maniscalco, Tommy Davidson, Artie Lange, Nick Di Paolo, and a few people that should’ve been opening for me. That’s a joke (that’s shrouded in truth). When I’m not performing, I keep busy with my other passion: writing. I’ve taken on projects for others as extensive as ghostwriting a memoir; as short-term as corporate speech writing; and as sporadic as ghostwriting an entertainment column on the Huffington Post. I’m proficient in portraying the client’s voice through my words and can add style and character to an otherwise invisible piece of work. Although I prefer descriptive writing with lots of personality, I can be low-key and conservative if the project requires (I rewrote a bank’s policy/procedures manual on safety deposit boxes for crying out loud! It doesn’t get more conservative than that). I’ve edited books including Everybody’s Scene: The Story of Connecticut’s Anthrax Club by Chris Daily and Dark by UK writer Andrew Wright. “Comedy in the Raw” was a column I wrote for the online magazine Spotlight that chronicled shenanigans on the road, things that annoy me (everything), and anything else worth venting about. I’m regularly hired to write business/special occasion speeches, as well as edit various types of writing projects. My diversity, attention to detail, dedication, focus, wit, and empathic nature are the traits that make me stand out from other writers. Whether I am working on my own project or a client’s, I do it with the same amount of passion and pride.

I have been illustrating professionally for over a decade, involving myself in numerous private, commercial and corporate ventures. I pride myself in versatility and speed while maintaining the ability to produce a solid and consistent product with no compromise. A tireless work ethic has enabled me to never settle for second best and be proud of any of the work I produce for my clients. My creative process focuses on a problem solving approach. This helps me to recognize and distinguish between an analytical and a purely creative approach that needs to be applied to a project. This ability has made me comfortable working in both fine art and commercial projects. Although the bulk of my experience and enjoyment is equally spread between acting as an autonomous freelancer and as a team player in the illustrator bull pit. I would like to add more experience to my limited exposure of having a lead position in a project. I constantly strive to improved my ability to communicate. This helps me both in my personal life as well as with product turn around time.
