I grew up obsessed with painting and drawing. Born in Johor Bahru, I was raised up living in the ‘city of Arts’ which is in Melaka, Malaysia. What made me who I am today isn’t about the way I draw and paint but about my ‘Never Give Up’ attitude. In my spare time I work as a freelance illustrator and most of my drawings feature a varieties of people I met on the streets and depict stories I have invented.

I've been writing since I was a kid in elementary school - at least back to fifth grade, when I wrote a fairy tale that earned the praise of my teachers. I like to think I've come a ways since then. Most of my experience is in print journalism. I was an enthusiastic print reporter, as well as a longtime copy editor and manager. I now spend a lot of time on public relations for local non profits, for which I also volunteer. I'm a member of Lions International and a history buff. Like most writers, I love to read, both classics and what I call "junk food" books - they fill a quick need, but make me feel guilty for indulging. Traveling is my second love and if I won the lottery I'd take a trip around the world and take my friends with me.
