I am an accomplished, results-driven copywriter with more than seven years of experience researching, producing and editing both creative and technical content for a variety of eCommerce businesses and e-business startups. I seek an opportunity to help the right company achieve their communication goals through the application of clear, concise prose. QUALIFICATIONS • Expert knowledge of online writing techniques, including readability concerns, grammar exceptions, keyword applications and SEO considerations. • Excellent written and oral communicator with a history of successful team coordination, consensus building and project management. • Critical thinker who excels at identifying and evaluating content opportunities that have a demonstrable effect on key performance indicators. • Direct experience with e-business startup tactics and growth stratagems, including the execution of long-term strategic content development projects. COMPUTER SKILLS CMS: WordPress, NetSuite Programming: HTML, CSS Analytics: Google Analytics Design: Photoshop Authoring: MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint Portfolio: jasonrahm.net PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND Content Developer | egoBoom.com | 2012 - 2014 Responsible for all aspects of company content creation, including product content, site content, marketing copy and brand identity for this social polling startup company. egoBoom won the Tech Cocktail award for Denver’s Hottest Start-Up in August 2013. • Researched and crafted hundreds of complex psychological assessment questions, balancing “humor and science”, for egoBoom’s core polling product. • Performed comprehensive market research and produced reports detailing competitive outlook, product opportunities and potential threats. • Engaged in weekly roundtable meetings with management to discuss all aspects of product development and deployment, offering critical insight where applicable. • Assisted with QA testing, including bug reporting and tracking. Contract Copywriter | Self-Employed | 2011 - 2014 Responsible for content writing, marketing and Web development tasks for a variety of clients across multiple industries. Deliverables included: blog posts, long-form articles, marketing materials and landing page content. • Authored a bi-weekly blog for a local chiropractor, improving social media engagement and site traffic during a critical rebranding period. Also, provided guidance for sourcing additional content creators to further enhance the blog. • Created blog posts, wrote copy and edited photos for 50-100 products a week for InteriorMark, an eCommerce furniture company. • Edited and rewrote HTML code for 2100 educational articles in only six weeks as the company, PTontheNet, migrated to a new custom content management system. Also provided insights on how to further improve their article format to coincide with SEO best practices and proper web-writing techniques. • Researched and wrote web page content for a local BioMeridian and massage therapy business, K2 Wellness, and provided marketing and social media insights to assist in rebranding efforts. Olympic Trials Hopeful | 2010 - 2011 Sponsored by former employer FoodServiceWarehouse.com, I was able to train as a full time athlete in an effort to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials. My training involved running 80 - 100 miles a week, coupled with high intensity cross-training. Following this regimen, I set a personal record of 2:46 at the 2010 Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon and was targeting a sub-2:35 at Chicago of the same year when a calf muscle tear two months prior to the race effectively ended my professional running career. Copywriter | FoodServiceWareouse.com | 2007 - 2010 Researched and wrote hundreds of SEO-rich articles for the foodservice education center of this eCommerce startup. After launch, the Education Center drove 30% of all traffic to the site and is, to this day, the most comprehensive online resource for commercial foodservice education. • Within three months of launching the education center, the Health and Safety section, for which I was solely responsible, ranked in the Top 10 of Google organic results for the targeted term "restaurant health and safety". Within six months, it was ranked in the Top 5, and, to this day, an article I wrote for the H&S section holds a Top 3 spot. • Performed keyword research, analyzed site and article traffic and used the data to direct the development of new content. • Participated in a weekly roundtable with fellow writers to copyedit new articles, provide overall project feedback and brainstorm additional article ideas. • Helped develop style guides for product loading and an editorial guide outlining proper web writing techniques to help train future employees. • Interviewed dozens of local restaurant owners and wrote business profiles based on those interviews, adding greater depth to our education center. CAYCE WRITING COMPANY PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR SUCCESS! YOU ARE A MACHINE You, small-business owner, are a force to be reckoned with. You are no mere mortal, no- you are a juggernaut, an unstoppable force, a train on a greased track. You do not have time to waste searching for decent content. You need a writer who gets you. You need good copy, and you need it yesterday. Whether it is brochures, B2B white papers or just content for your web page, you want, you need a writer who gets what you do. After all, you eat, breathe and sleep your business. Shouldn’t the person creating your message understand what it is that you want to say? You deserve sexy content! Not every topic is hot, but you still gotta sell it! Communication is More than Just a Word Count Writers may be as common as the cold, but how many can do the job right? Koko the gorilla can sign and understand over 1000 words, but that does not mean she is a great communicator. You need writers who know their asterisk from a hole in the ground. One that can find their laptop with both hands and crank out great content that really speaks to your audience. WHY SHOULD YOU HIRE ME? Because I really care about your bottom line. After all, if you do not make money, then I do not make money. And frankly, even though I paid the bill last month, the electric company is humorless lot and they insist that I pay each month. (They are funny like that.) By providing you with worthwhile content (and by being easy to work with), I guarantee my own success too. It is true that writers are a dime a dozen, but good ones- the ones that care about what they do- well, that is a like finding a diamond ring in a coal mine. If you are in need of an experienced wordsmith, just hit reply and let's get started on your next project. Victoria Cayce “Write good or die” – Scott

My name is Kim Garrity. I recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a bachelors degree in Art Education. I took classes that included illustration, graphic design (hands on and computer), figure drawing, 3-D and 2-D design, painting, printmaking, sculpture, etc. I've always been a very creative person and art has always been a part of my life. In my free time I love to paint, draw and design cards. I currently work with special needs children and I try to incorporate art in a therapeutic way. Using their gross motor skills, they learn how to use scissors, glue, watercolor, etc, meanwhile trying to introduce them to artists and their techniques. I would love to be able to use my skills to help anyone who is looking for an artist to complete their artistic visions.

Hello, I am an 18 year old trying to start a career in writing. I have been published in a small newsletter/magazine called "The Communique", it technically is meant for my church, but it is still something that I have written for, and proof that I can write if anyone out there gets a chance to read it. I also have a blog on LiveJournal, two in fact, one entitled "interwebsconvos" and "LucyyOctober", both of which have writing open to the public, and though it isn't always my finest work for a blogger, but I still try. And finally my writing experience comes to a close with the two novels I have written over the past few years for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, for those unfamiliar), they are unpublished, but I hope to have them become published one day. I am young, but I can still try, and I can still write. I intend to go to York University for Professional Writing next year, but would like to get a head start now, and possibly make some money. If anyone needs a writer, I am willing to start small and keep working, I am very eager, I love writing with my whole heart, and I am willing to write and try anything.
