I have discovered alot about myself I did not know years ago. I am a poetic soul, passionate about writing, passionate about expressing my life experiences through poetry that others can relate to, but most of all im passionate about pouring out my soul in the words written between poetry. I have always been told that there is more to me than what meets the eye. I believe it is my ability to express what goes on beyond appearance by embracing my own thoughts and full emotions.

I am new to this sight, but I am not new to writing. I hold a Master's Degree in English with an emphasis in writing. Humor is one of my strengths. I am also very well schooled in the areas of world history, nutrition and supplementation, music and pop culture. I have been awarded recognition for my scholarly work as well; I presented my paper "Falstaff Evolution" at the Indiana College English Association Conference. In it I outlined a way to dissect characters by using Ferdinand de Saussure's work in Structuralism. I chose to use the Shakespearean character of Falstaff as my example, identifying his character attributes by using the character's context. I have also done humanitarian work in Haiti and Mexico, and I am eager to do more work in this area.

Profile Shaun Colnan is a jack of all written trades. Whether it’s taking you to the edge of a far-off cliff, through the ins and outs of a secret family recipe or reflecting on the dream spaces of cinema, with Shaun at the helm you’re sure to be enthralled. He loves to jet off around the world but currently hangs his hat in Melbourne. Experience Freelance Journalist - Various Agencies 2009-Present As a Freelance Journalist I’ve worked on numerous projects, written articles for major Australian news outlets, as well as made ongoing contributions to several online and print magazines. For a look at my published works go to: shauncolnan.wordpress.com Blogger - Shemmabroad 2014-Present I maintained a travel blog through my travels in 2014. Travelling and reflecting on that travel for an audience gave me an invaluable insight into what sort of travel people are wanting to experience for themselves. For a detailed look go to: shemmabroad.wordpress.com Shop Assistant - Costume Direct 2013-2014 During my year at Costume Direct I instigated the implementation of a picking system to help the company economise incoming and outgoing stock. I also developed customer relationships, helping customers decide the products they should purchase. Intern - ABC’s 7:30 June - July 2012 I was one of eight students across New South Wales to earn a prestigious work experience opportunity at the ABC. During my month at 7:30 I worked with some of the best journalists in Australia, learning from them and absorbing the professional working environment of our national public broadcaster. I conducted broadcasted interviews (including Tibetan Kalon Tripa, Dr Lobsang Sangay), wrote copy and researched stories. I also made preliminary incursions into what became the story that prompted the Royal Commission into Institutional Child ****** Abuse. Call Centre Operator – Residex 2009-2011 As a Call Centre Operator I was at the frontline of communications with real estate agents, collecting data for publication in the Sunday Telegraph. My time at Residex taught me to work within a team and the importance of maintaining relationships to meet targets. My time at Residex was pivotal in cementing my love for customer service, working diligently to exceed expectations. I also worked on a quarterly report for Residex which saw me work independently, gathering research and compiling data for promotional purposes. Intern - Nine News Room July 2011 I worked as an intern in the Nine News Room in July of 2011, shadowing journalists and cameramen as they compiled the nightly news. This internship gave me experience in the field, taught me how to react quickly to news stories and produce scripts to a deadline. Work Experience - Australian Financial Review 2010 In July of 2010, I shadowed the Australian Financial Review’s Multimedia Manager, Marc Tewksbury, sitting in on meetings and the production of a video for AFR’s online content. Work Experience - Business Review Weekly 2009 In January of 2009, I shadowed BRW’s Editor in Chief, Sean Aylmer, collaborating with him on an article for the magazine. Dominique Jackson 147 Isenberg Drive Gray, TN 37615 423-747-6775 JWones23@gmail.com I have always loved taking pictures. Being able to capture the beauty of the world around me is something that interests me. I would like to be able to take pictures that speak to a lot of people. I hope that these pictures will change people’s minds about issues like global warming and animal cruelty. I also want to be able to use pictures to bring things to light that perhaps most people wouldn’t see otherwise. Photography is a powerful element. The written word is a powerful medium, but so is seeing an actual representation of a situation. One of my career goals is to work for National Geographic. This has been a dream of mine for some time and I believe that I can achieve it. National Geographic is a wonderful organization and if I'm able to be a part of it that would be amazing. Other career goals of mine are to be the best photographer that I can be, to touch people with my work, to make them think, to make them take action. I would love to be able to travel the world and bring back images that will tell people the tales of other cultures and expose them to things that they've never seen before. Animals are also a huge passion of mine and I want to be able to use my skills as a photographer to help save as many of them as I can. Terrible things happen to animals every day that people are not aware of because it isn't put in their faces. I want to be able to do that, to show people that there is cruelty happening under their noses. I want to be able to show them a way to help stop this. As the saying goes "A picture is worth a thousand words." I believe this and I want to make my pictures say a thousand words every time. Objective: I am a hard-working, fast learning individual. I would like to find a job that will not only help me pay bills, but that will further me in my work and social skills. I am a good typist, and enjoy doing computer related work. I am also good at answering phone calls and handling appointments. I have skills in cooking, and I enjoy meeting new people and helping people. I attended Virginia Intermont College this past school year and majored in Photography, with a minor in Equine Studies. I plan to continue my college studies this Fall semester at ETSU, studying to be a dental hygienist. Photography is my number one passion, and if I can find a meaningful job in that field, it would make me very happy. My cover letter says all that I can say about that. I have used digital cameras and Photoshop for around 5 years now. I have worked with two professional photographers shooting events and weddings. I've worked with models and regular people. Nature photography is a huge passion of mine and I would love to be able to pursue it. Hi, I'm Mike Hosch, a freelance commercial sculptor. I make custom sculpture for people and organizations. If I'm not on site, I'm in our home studio with my wife Ann who is a sculptor, mold maker and model maker. We share our space with 10 cats, 2 dogs, 2 bearded dragons, a ball python, tanks of guppies and a host of squirrels in the back yard. We advertise on line at http:ifreelance.com/pro/23861 There are about 100 shots of past projects including many animals and creatures. Check us out - it's a fun site. We bid by the job, not by the hour. Send us as much information as you can about subject matter, size and what you'd like to see, and we'll give you a quote that includes free minor changes, recommended materials, hope and inspiration. For portraits in the 4" range, 10 Lb. and 15 Lb. foam would work well. For fine detail at that scale Chavant's CM70 or Hard NSP (Hard styling plastilinas) would be best. Hope to hear from you soon.
