My name is Cassandra Saunders. I am a songwriter who specializes in writing unique lyrics for R&B/hip hop/pop artists. I work with producers solely in those genres. Currently, I have a female vocal arranger who demos all of my songs that are meant for female artists. In the near future, I will be hiring her male counterpart. When I write lyrics to an instrumental, I like to listen to it multiple times so I can get a feel for the mood that the producer was trying to portray, and then write unique lyrics that correspond to whatever that mood is. In the almost 19 years I have been in the industry, no one has told me that I had to modify any of my work to make it work better.
