I got my B.F.A. in 2013, and although I've been working as a freelancer ever since, I've only been a full-time freelancer for the past year. I've designed a bit of everything at one point or another: characters for comic books, book covers, T-Shirts, costumes, weapons, spaceships, aliens, orcs, fantasy beasts, more...

Originally, I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in journalism, specifically editing and reporting. During this time, I worked as a reporter and editor for my college paper, as well as later for a suburban news publication. Later, I returned to school and now have a master's degree in education and a certification to teach Language Arts, grades 7 through 12. Besides teaching English, I have also taught Public Speaking and Film and Theatre Appreciation. I created the curriculum for all of these classes, primarily on my own. I have also created a high school correspondence course for my school district so students can recover credit hours, as well as an entire Summer school remedial course as well. As a teacher, I give speeches every day, but I was also the keynote speaker at my school's graduation ceremony. On my own, I have written songs, poems, children's and adult books and short stories, plays and movie scripts. My style is witty, sharp and humorous.
