Over the past 6 years I have a taken a variety of studio classes to build a set of focused art skills. These classes have included Design Fundementals, Computer Graphic Design, and Illustration. Through my graphic design program I have been introduced to numerous programs and skills that have become indispensable to my workflow. I am comfortable in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Maya, and Mudbox. I also have produced work using Premiere, InDesign, Z-Brush, and HTML and CSS programming. Still, I find that self education has become my most effective means of growth and I continue to take on challenges outside of my regular classwork. Drawing is my primary focus and strongest ability. I love putting pencil to paper (or stylus to tablet) and bringing new life to my imagination. I have been doing so for as long as I can remember. My passion is animation (2D and 3D), and I enjoy studying motion and movement. I am mainly a character artist, and enjoy the challenge of making a new character to fit a situation. I am currently teaching myself 3D character creation and animation. The joy that comes from successfully going from an idea, to a drawing, to a moving 3D character is unrivaled. My goal is to work in the field of 3D animation in games, movies, or television. Currently I am accepting contracts for freelance illustration and graphic design.

I am finishing a children's book and need an illustrator who can furnish artwork for the book's characters, scenery, etc., and am willing to negotiate with regard rates. I have a few requirements for inquirers: 1) I must own the images after I pay for them because I am attempting to not only write a children's book series, but to build a brand and the characters will be integral in that endeavor and for merchandising, 2) I must have the artwork in digital format as well as the original sketches because my target audience will be IPad and Kindle users as well as paper copy, 3) I have a relatively flexible schedule but would need someone who once contracted, can finish the artwork within 45 to 60 days at the most. I will be giving full credit to you for your artwork in the book and will allow your signature mark to be at the bottom of all of your artwork in the book and on any sundries, etc. Because I feel that the artwork is not only integral to the success of the story, but paramount, and as such I will also be willing to negotiate royalties for all sales. If you are interested please email me any artwork that you feel would be helpful that may not be on this site. I can assure you that they will not be disseminated, sold, or otherwise compromised. We are all artists and I would hope that such an honor code would not would be violated. I have an expectation that I would have to provide the story to you to assist in your creative imaginary process, so trust is a two way street. Thanks for your time and interest.

I am on the verge of completing a law degree. I developed a keen interest in law in college and I have enjoyed learning about the different mechanisms working within the legal system and how to apply them to real life situations. I have particularly enjoyed studying commercial law as it is a challenge and has provided me with knowledge of how to successfully construct intricate pieces of text. I enjoy learning, I work well with others, and I have the motivation and confidence to use my own initiative. I am also not afraid to ask questions, which helps me to learn from my mistakes and improve the quality of my work. My degree has been highly language and literature focused, which I believe has provided me with great skills when paired with my passion for writing. Throughout higher education I have developed a portfolio of articles, short stories, reviews and essays which have not only helped me to improve as a writer, but I also hope will aid me in obtaining a job in this field.
